What does him being a hall of fame coach have to do with him giving a warning?
Because the dude has morals. You think he will just up and retire and leave us with the off-season to find a new coach? Not going to happen.

Plus Cal is the type of dude who will want all the hoopla that goes along with a HOF'er retiring.

Cal? Morals? HAHAHA

Cal will not want the hoopla of a going away party because he knows his status in Lexington.

Cal thinks his crap don’t stink. He doesn’t care what happens to UK or how he leaves us. He’s left vacated wins and vacated FF’s everywhere he’s coached.
He thinks he’s above everyone else and their hoopla would be meaningless to him.
I mean the man thinks he’s too good to take the garbage out.

You must be out of check with reality.

Plus, Cal only needs a couple more years before he locks himself into a lifetime salary of $950,000/year from UK. He ain't leaving before that.

Cal isn't set up for the ideal ride off into the sunset retirement like K is. Cal's a maverick, and no media darling, who's burned some bridges along the way.

Friends that work in the UK athletics department.
Tyty wasn’t with the team at all today.
He’s in a bad place.
He really is torn between shutting it down and getting healthy for NBA workouts or playing for his teammates.
Washington Sr. Wants him to shut it down and focus on his future.
He feels as if Cal has put Sharpe over the kids that actually give it their all.
Tyty is disconnected from Social media and the team at this time.

Well in his defense I believe everyone gets tired of taking out the trash.

TyTy deleted his content. This is a personal motivational tool used by some high major athletes. He’s seen it done by his mentors, and he is now entering the total focus, not putting up with ****, kick some *** zone. TyTy is not a quitter. Sharpe has nothing to do with anything. This team loves and respects one another. They will go to war with one another. TW is a man. His father is his biggest supporter. He’s good, and when healthy, will walk onto that floor and lead us to a title, with his brothers.

@gwjenning - just stop

I have no idea if this is true or not, but it would not surprise me at all
Have to agree with the father
Seems like Sharpe was given preferential treatment over the kids that should be getting
the attention
Apparently Sharpe has been a distraction as some worried, but it is from not playing instead of playing.
It is sad that UK is nothing more than a minor league training camp for the NBA
You and the other knuckle draggers on this board have talked about Sharpe since he enrolled, nonstop, and now you claim he has been a distraction.

If Sharpe does indeed play next season for the Cats. Are all the he is gone people going to admit they were wrong?
I think we all know the answer to that one

Same goes for the few that are saying Ty Ty has played his last game.

I put that message out there when we lost to a terrible Notre Dame team which isn’t so terrible in the ACC anyway right now.
And WKU had just defeated Louisville by 10.

Are you so dumb that you think your message board campaign here will result in Cal being gone, which you badly want more than anything else in this world? You spend every waking hour here trying to create chaos. This board means nothing to Calipari. ZERO.

By the way anyone wanting updates on college basketball injuries might want to wake up from your slumber reality’s calling. Times have changed from the Pitino days most coaches play it close to the vest and you usually have to wait until warm ups

He's gone "all in" on creating havoc here. He knows absolutely nothing and is trying to find relevance that he’s obviously not getting anywhere else.

Ty Ty is obviously going to rest this week and get ready for Arkansas. Might or might not play against LSU, but I wouldn't doubt if he didn't.

Actually Cal is the world’s worst for giving out info on injured players. I have NEVER heard any other coach state the day after a game that a player became injured that he “hasn’t seen or talked to him”.

Cal is the master of hiding the status of an injured player.

That’s just another way for him to say the same thing as other coaches. “We’re taking it day by day”. “We’ll see how it goes”. It’s all the same talk it don’t mean a thing. Do people actually think most coaches give out injury updates anymore?

One key angle in the gambling world is to look out for who is in warmups. It’s a crap shoot with most college teams anymore Cal isn’t different from the rest of them come on now

I agree to disagree 😁
Tyty's dad is probably fed up with some fans like you. He told his son to shutdown his social media. Similar to what Sharpe's family has seen unfortunately. Tyty is a great kid and teammate, he'll be back playing asap and trying to win games for his teammates, himself, the coaches, and the fans. Even fans like yourself

According to TyTy’s latest instagram story, he is at the UK women’s game vs Vanderbilt. Not exactly the actions of someone who is “disconnected from social media and the team”.

Watch him quickly pivot to some other sort of misery when this one doesn't work out. That's his MO. I'd give anything to know what POS team he cheers for. Probably Memphis.

I absolutely hate TN and losing to them. That comes from living in Knoxville for 12 years.
I had a really good friend there who’s wife worked in the ticket office so he would hook me up with great seats when UK came to TBA.
He was a rare UT fan that liked basketball more than football and he absolutely hated UK.
He never got me seats next to him because we both knew it would probably come to blows during the game.
You and your friend have something in common.

Cal's running joke, and standard answer... he says it everytime, even at pressers... he will say "before you ask, I haven't seen him"...
