It's definitely not a bad loss. Texas has some size and talent and now they have a coach.
Winning on the road is tough and as bad as we looked at UCLA I wouldn't be talking too much smack.
Now KU on the other hand….
UNC was at full strength with a bunch of junior an seniors - guys projected to be all conference. I think their loss was less understandable than UK's at UCLA, the first real road test for a young UK team nursing injuries to its veteran player (Lee, Ulis) and another vet coming back from an ACL injury.
That and the fact that their defense looked incredibly pedestrian. I mean, how much room does this UNC team have left to grow as a team? Berry, Britt, Paige, Jackson, Johnson, Hicks, and Meeks have all been playing together for 3 to 4 years. What you see at this point is what you get (albeit, they have the talent to beat anyone and win the whole thing, but the margin for improvement is small).
