I want to see UNC in transition just absolutely blow past Tatum as he's screaming aimlessly into the air after every good play he makes. I love some enthusiasm but damn...

Funny thing is. I Haven't seen any of those Airplane movies in 20 years, but I've quoted lines out of them 3 times this week alone.

The "I speak Jive" scene is one of my favorites.

But also, it helped that line ski actually spelled it "Shirley". I think he tee'd it up on purpose though.

I said it when it happened and it is proving true. That comeback win against Wake has completely turned Duke's season. They are on a roll, getting healthy, and playing really well.

I bet they end up a 2 seed and maybe even in the 1 seed discussion.

They'll lose when their shots aren't falling. They've been shooting the crap out of the ball the last 4 or 5 games. This team doesn't seem to draw fouls like some of their previous teams.

Probably true even if it shouldn't be. They have multiple bad losses and UNC at home should have less value than UNC on the road. Plus that's their only marquee win. We have South Carolina as well. They'll use coach k and injuries as an excuse however.

I'd hope off on the Duke coronation. Their remaining schedule is brutal:

at Virginia
at Syracuse
at Miami
at UNC
FSU at home

Jay doesn't think they'll be quite as dominant as Kentucky was in 2015.

Yeah? No ****.. they had 5 losses by February. They may win the title, but they are not UK 2015. They will not be the best team to win the title.

duke is playing better......coach k is back and the rookies are gelling......can't ask for much more.....if they are indeed on an upward trend, it will be interesting to see if other teams are as well....

Duke beat ND at ND. Duke plays in the ACC they are going to have quality wins every year. The ACC is loaded. FSU, Louisville, UNC, Virginia, Duke, Syracuse, Miami, Notre Dame etc. The SEC has three to four that are as good as the top 12 ACC schools.

Kentucky will have a better record going into the tournament than Duke due to playing in the SEC.

It's hard to be certain of that with the way we've played lately unfortunately.
