On a neutral site with fair officiating UNC by 20...At Cameron, the ACC crew will keep it close until the 4 minute tv timeout then best of luck to whoever can win in that sprint to the end...hence so many dramatic, photo finishes in these contests.

Duke makes more FT's than UNC attempts and wins by 4 IMO....greatest rivalry in sports is a farce IMO...ESPN super bowl type coverage of it 2-3x a year they play doesn't help.

I don't think the officiating has anything to do with it and never has just like it didn't when N.C State beat Duke at Duke.


I think it's close especially with Hicks being out

Best case is a meteor. But for us, our only quality win is the heels, so better if they win.

And grayson is such a POS, I always hope he loses.

Oh SHUT UP Bilas...tired of him and ESPN slurping all over themselves about this "rivalry". Hell, the StL Cardinals and Chicago Cubs is a better rivalry IMO!

I know what you mean and it makes good sense but I am watching this and just can't bring myself to cheer for either team to win. I dislike both immensely for different reasons.

Honestly, Duke should win this fairly comfortably. They're at home and UNC doesn't have Hicks, who is arguably their best inside player. He's averaging 13 & 6 on 61% shooting in 24 minutes.

UK and Duke are similar teams. Struggle with big wings, struggle containing the dribble, need guards to make shots.

Oh don't get me wrong I absolutely despise both of these programs and I'm not really "cheering" for Carolina. Just would rather see them win due to the circumstance. This is like watching ISIS vs. Al-Qaeda.

Well officiated except for a blatant foul by Duke on a UNC jumper right out in the open. Announcers said nothing .. didn't even call it a block which of course it wasn't. Stupid defense by UNC at the end of half

Duke is playing like everyone thought..They will be hard to stop in the NCAAT...It pisses me off the cats have players to make a great team, but they got me me and the NBA on their minds..I wouldn't blame Cal if he benched 2-3 guys until they buy in like others teams i see around the country ..He has to gain control of the team somehow..we have 2-3 guys that know their going to play no matter how much they suck at defense and team ball..And Briscoe is not a leader..I think the best leaders are the best players..They have to respect your game to listen to what you say..Monk needs to be the leader

Keep in mind, UNC playing down a starter.

Duke shooting 10-21 from 3 and still losing at home.

Also, a Duke win probably moves them past us in poll and seeding.. while a loss, Shirley puts them behind us..

I watched that NC-state/duke game, there was a H7GE difference in the way that game was called compared to games with K on the sidelines.
The refs weren't afraid to call fouls on duke's players, K wasn't there to rip them after every call. He truly is a master at working the refs.
If K was coaching that game, duke wins by 15 easily, he buys them that much. He's a better coach than Capel for sure, but his true value during games is working the refs.

Duke better put it together tonight. Still have games at Virginia, Syracuse, Miami, and UNC. FSU at home.

Already 6 losses and 4 in conference. Lose this game and they almost assuredly will hit 10 before the NCAAT.

This game has been extremely entertaining but like UK neither of these teams can defend at all....they just have more offensive fire power then us.

Duke has great shooters in Tatum Allen and Kennard. That hides a lot of defensive woes. They have enough inside to get it done. They may very well go deep in March
