UL opens a 2 point favorite over UK

LOL, what on Gods green earth could make them think UL is 2 points better?
A LOT of money is about to be dropped on the Cats and I don't blame whoever does it. Easy money.
Bad call in my opinion.

Playing on the road vs another top 10 team, first road game, UL defense and how the games tend to be closendown to the final minute no matter what the talent gap is. I think UK wins but the line is understandable to pretty much everyone else that watches college basketball. Understandable that you'll have some UK fans think it's wrong just like they do with every game UK isn't favored
We are prime for a let down as bad as I hate to say it.

I get it. Still not sure what to expect in this one. Different style of defense, on the road, still trying to get consistent play from our frontcourt, etc. Will be interesting to see if Monk is neutralized how the others will respond...
If we win it will be our best win of the season. This game will be very valuable to us down the road. We learn to play in a mucked up game. I look for the cards to get us in a close one
I see no reputable sportsbook with a line out yet, but it will surprise me if that turns out to be the true line. Don't get me wrong, I think we overvalue our team and always undervalue the opponent (especially UL) when it comes to picking spreads, but I would be very surprised if UL is giving points. I'd say the line opens somewhere between PK to UK -3, unless the OP can provide a link showing this line to be real.
Oh, I don't understand because I have blinders on huh? UL has played NO ONE. They can't score and only have the defensive stats they have because of the crap schedule they've played. See, I actually pay attention. I'm not blinded by their ridiculous ranking. We'll see, won't we.
This line terrifies me. I always fade the public. If I wasn't a fan and saw this line I would pick Louisville to cover. I've been wrong a lot in my life and let's hope this is one of those times...

Here is the biggest issue(s). I don't see Louisville as a top 10 team. In order to beat UK, you have to be able to score against them. I don't see Louisville scoring with them. Defense alone won't get you anywhere against this UK team. Louisville's defense can be good against EKU, Grand Canyon, Texas Southern ... but this is a different type of team they have seen.

UofL will be tough defensively, but they are horrible on offense. If they are cold, it just won't matter.
This one will be interesting. They have the top ranked adjusted defensive efficiency. It'll be interesting to see how we do against them
Unc played the style we wanted to play and it was on neutral court. Louisville will beat and bang and zone us. This game presents different challenges.

We have almost always been bad in our first true road game under Cal. I get where Vegas is coming from.
My blue glasses are off. This will probably be a close game. I realize it's an away game against your rival and great coach but are they really #10 in the nation? We shall see

I think we win a close close game. Lil Ricky's young men will play way above their heads. They are not a top ten team but tomorrow night they will play like one. Would not surprise me for the Cats to get in early foul trouble.
Well Vegas is unbiased, and are right many more times than they are wrong! For those that think or have thought that there's no chance we lose this game you better prepare yourself, because there's probably a better chance that we lose than there is that we win. Yes they missed the football game badly, but that is not the norm. I would rather have lost the NC game than this one! Here's hoping that Vegas is wrong again and we blow them out!!
Vegas has been off somewhat this year especially with football and even when talking about Kentucky.
Kentucky getting 28 against Louisville was a joke when you consider how Louisville was trending.
Also Kentucky was 4pt dog @ Mizzou and was up 35-7 with 5 min to go.

The officials we play a huge part to. Jamie Lucky, and Roger Ayers! Can't get much worse than that for UK. Cal is sure to get T'd up. Bam will have 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes, and we definitely need Bam on the floor for 30 plus minutes in this game!!
Cal needs to go off publicly regarding Bam and the officiating. K would and that player wouldn't foul out the remainder of the season.
