I want to see Kentucky offer
Honest question here as I have never seen Reed play and have seen very few clips. The clips I have seen, seem to have him playing against very weak competition. My question is, if he wasn’t Jeff’s son, would UK fans really even want the kid? What skills does he possess that would would benefit UK. Not trolling, just don’t know much about him.

He's legit.
He has it in his blood to be an excellent athlete.
He would play with pride.
He's an alumni legend's son.

Checks all boxes and then some for me.

I've forgotten with all the new NCAA rules. Does UL pay for body condoms or do the players have to provide their own?
Hard to tell whether this clip is a UL player with an underage prostitute, or a UL player's father with an underage prostitute. I can't tell.

He does play against weak competition in the 13th region but has already shown in the past few weeks in AAU he he can play well against the best.

He isn't blazing fast but he has great hops like Jeff. He's sneaky athletic. He plays under control with a very high basketball IQ. He is a great outside shooter with a very solid handle. The only knock on him, really, is his height, which is 6'2".

Paul Biancardi

Virginia, Kentucky, Louisville & Indiana all pursuing 2023 Reed Sheppard. Excellent shooting mechanics and touch from all levels. Vision and accuracy to deliver the pass with an open teammate mentality. Fundamentally sound with his footwork as well. Dad Jeff played at Kentucky.

This is one of the biggest no brainers I've every seen. I think his name and location actually work against him in some ways causing folks to doubt what they see in front of them.

The kid is clearly an above average athlete with way above average skills. Shoots great, handles great, with elite court awarenes, passing and feel for the game. He also shows a quick twitch change of direction to get where he needs to go. None of that is dependant on who he is playing against, its what he has.

And he's just a sophomore that will get better. In two years instead of folks saying are we going to offer, is he good enough . . .they will be saying we cant lose this guy. Mark it down.

Jeff says he’s a legit 6’3 but that’s kinda splitting hairs .

Hard for me to believe that his parents wasn't more involved in teaching him about UL. Always questioning why anyone with good talent would even visit there. What is the situation that this terrible thing happened???
Definitely. And why does he use the word blessed when he obviously means cursed. Really strange.

Dropped 22 on Chris Livingston and Mikey Williams and got the win....

Biancardi is laughable; Dad played at Kentucky. No, Dad was the MOP as he led Kentucky to a national title.
These media nerds don’t tell the true story 90 percent of the time.

While he sounds like a decent player, I’m not sure why everyone is so obsessed with a 3 star player. He isn’t even the highest rated player in the state. It’s clear he didn’t grow up dreaming of playing for UK.

Perhaps but what he said about Reed was good and accurate. I posted it to help answer the guys question.

From what I've seen in video, he has all the tools. I think the opposite, that some underestimate his value and potential because he is Jeff's son, thinking that he is only talked about because of that. He is already a top 100 recruit, and I expect he will be top 50 (or close) by end of summer now that he has the opportunity to play vs other top competition, keeping in mind not much happened to anyone last summer. Yeah he's "only" 6'2, but he also only just finished his Soph yr. A lot of kids grow an inch or 2 (or more) the last couple years of HS. So he's not short, but he's not tall (won't be tall enough to be a SF).

The more of U6' time and resources he wastes the better I like it. Hope he strings them along right up to the podium.
