I wasn’t cheering for UofSmell to win , I was cheering for the rat face Bastard and Dook to lose. I would say UofSmell will get there NOA on Monday after having the audacity to beat rat face at home .

K whining after the game:

“The term freedom of movement was not in use tonight. . . . It’s just not good basketball. They played great tonight. I don’t want to take away from them. . . . But tonight was not the way it should be. Doesn’t mean they wouldn’t beat us if it were some other way."

Cal gets absolutely abused by the refs, and he stays quiet. For better or worse, he rarely brings it up.

That piece of **** Coach K gets bad officiating once a year and he can't handle it.

Does K realize they shot 15 more free throws tonight? Duke literally hands check EVERY play!

One of the best indicators of this (and signs that one of these coaches is a dirtbag), is how each coach responds when a foul is called.

One of the first things Cal will do, is go right into one of our players. Because even if it was a bad call, there's probably an element that lies with the player making some mistake.

Coach K on the other hand will go right into the officials, not his player. He is ALWAYS sneering at the refs. He's not even neccesarily working them. He's not doing the patented Jim B "Let me stand next to him and politic a bit".. even that's more respectable. No, Coach K just loses his **** on them, and its very unbecoming.. to see the supposed GOAT coach NEVER hold his players accountable.

noticed that, no standard hold the other coach's elbow with the right hand while patting his chest with the left while offering sage words of wisdom. heh. Just a quick shake and drive on by.......
or even to the lesser coaches the couple words on the others shoulder with in hearing distance. he’s just a bit upset.

You people in this thread Rooting for Duke to lose to our rival is why the Duke/UNC rivalry is the best and biggest.

You will never see a UNC fan pull for Duke to beat us or Duke to pull for UNC vs us. In fact when we play UNC you see threads on Duke's board saying lets go Cats, Go UK because I hate UNC.

Has nothing to do with ESPN pushing this. You guys show it every year why Duke is best. Ratings draw too

Also shows the hate is bigger than our program really. This is why Duke is the biggest brand and name in the sport
This is false. When we played Carolina in 2017 Duke fans were rooting for Carolina.

Yeah, the no call on that last UL dunk was just White helping him have freedom of movement. Lol

Duke/UNC is the better rivalry, UK/UL isn’t a rivalry anymore because we dominate them so damn bad. We only loss two games against them since Cal has arrived and the overall series is completely in our favor. Now we can still hate the tards but I’m at the point now where if they lose I can laugh at them if they win good for us makes us look better.

I’ll watch their games but the result no longer matters. Ten years ago my two favorite teams was UK and whoever was playing UL, now I really don’t care about them because they are no different from a SEC team we beat all the time.

Funniest part is K said that right after claiming he never makes excuses after a loss

"Coach K: I’m not a sour grapes guy. Every time we lose I step up here and I give the other team credit and never throw my own team under the bus. I’m not going to make any damn excuses."

This is where you guys can hit your knees and thank God you aren't in the ACC. Those comments can be translated to be: "ACC league officials you really need to turn our game against Florida State--and Virginia who is as ugly as the Bea Arthur Lost Nudes--into a FT shooting contest because Hurt and Jones are worse matchups against the Noles than they were for Dwayne Sutton and Johnson" In his world the integrity of Earth with him as the Monarch is on the line.

Congrats UL for doing what Stephen F. Austin also did, beat Duke at Cameron. Duke is a Sweet 16 team at best with that roster. Their youth really showed in this game. They weren't ready to play to start the game. It was a debacle. How many layups and dunks did they give up, and turnovers the first 8 min?
