Hate to say this with all the negatively already on the board tonight, but our bigs are putrid. If they dont improve, tremendously, we go nowhere.
We have zero post play, but hot damn we have some guards

Our Achilles Heel is, will be, in the middle, IMO. NR and EJ HAVE to give us some point production down low on a consistent basis.
Richards is playing just fine. Hes playing defense and rebounding the ball. There is more to the game than just scoring.

We keep going to the well down low, but it's pretty obvious our bigs haven’t figured out how to score from there, they throw the ball up with no confidence. Hoping it goes in.

We're unbeatable if Montgomery and and Richards can finish those little hooks. IF. Defensive intensity looks OUTSTANDING. For it to be that good in game one is amazing. This team wants it.
How any elite big can look at our post players and not see tons of playing time is beyond me. Still makes no sense to struggle this much to get a good post recruit. Especially with our guys that are successful in the NBA.

Agreed. I just hate when people dump on a player and ignore the good stuff they are doing. More than 1 facet to the game.
i think ej is more often than not going to hit those bunnies. he crapped the bed on those.
