That didn't take long.Just stop...there is no conspiracy

They put us at that time to get the most viewers. That is usually time for the prime games. NCAA does not decide the game times, the networks do. The selection crew screwed but this is not part of the conspiracy. Not buying it.
Yes. It is a vast conspiracy. Everyone connected to the NCAA in any way, shape or form, from the janitor on up to the president himself all stay awake at night trying to come up with more and more ways to screw us. There simply is no justice in this world.Face it. The ncaa is going to make it as hard on UK as they can.
Oh good, the head a-hole chimes in. I bet you have just one big brown in eye in the center of your face.Yes. It is a vast conspiracy. Turner Sports wants as many eyeballs on the tourney as possible from start to finish. They started with Duke (ratings grabber) and will end with UK (ratings grabber).
If they started with UK there would be a thread stating UK was the only 4 seed to play at Noon and how that was somehow against us. I guarantee it
Face it. The ncaa is going to make it as hard on UK as they can.
If that was true, they'd have made us a Friday/Sunday game.Played three games with the last ending on Sunday. The committee was just trying to give us additional recovery time
Oh good, the head a-hole chimes in. I bet you have just one big brown in eye in the center of your face.
If we win, our next opponent will have 2 extra hours of rest... someone write a letter
If I was playing, I would much rather play at 9:40. It is more in line with the schedule you've had all year than playing a mid-week game at at noon.
Also, can't agree with anyone who thinks this means they won't be as well rested for a game a full day and a half later.... These are 18-20 year old kids. They'll be fine.
Putting us prime time isn't about a conspiracy. These are teenagers. They've played late games. This is about the money and who will watch.
If we played at 2 pm EDT, people would be bitching that they were at work and couldn't watch it. Sheesh.
Trust me....2 hours more rest when you have a day off in between is not a big deal at all. We're talking about teenagers here.I found it funny that we are the higher seed but will be playing with less rest on Saturday than IU or UTC unless we lose of course.
There are two nights of sleep between games. It doesn't make any difference at all.It may be a small advantage but an advantage non the less and one that should go to the higher seed.
Crean requested the earlier time so his clapping hands can get more rest between games. How about just switching us with IU? I don't think anyone said we should get to play at 2:00.
Just stop...there is no conspiracy[/QUOTE
Do we have board policemen
here.:cop:
If it's only about ratings, why is ku playing early? Surely the #1 team could draw big ratings.
I'd put them in the slot iu got. I don't recall Cal saying he preferred late games. He might prefer it over noon but I bet he'd rather have the 7:30 slot.Ok...so what time would you have put UK?
Remember Cal said he preferred the time slot they got.
