I'll be quite honest, and I truly mean what I m saying. Aside from NCAA Tournament seeding I couldn't care any less about if we are ranked #1 or not ranked at all. I enjoy flying below the radar but I understand that we will be ranked high. I honestly take great pride in watching our Cats pounce on teams that think they are strong and then punch em in the mouth!!!. It feels sooo good to rip the heart outta opposing teams/fans. I relish it!!!

Then you must not care about season success or the tourney seed. Both are directly related to the AP rankings.

Exactly, there is a correlation between rankings and tournament seeding. 1 and 2 seeds simply have an easier path. Dook has for decades manipulated the polls through the pollsters that constantly bolster the rankings and thus their seed.

Would have been #4 if Ohio State had beat Purdue which was why I was confused at those rooting for Purdue to win.

If this team can hold the line they get a 1 seed. That’s huge. Been 7 years since our last NCAA tournament 1 seed.

Top 5 in the nation a few weeks ago people were comparing this to the end of the Tubby Smith era? Give me a break it’s not even in the same solar system as that

I think we are very much in the mix for a 1 seed, other teams are going to lose games.
Heck, Baylor is down 8 at home to Wva at halftime right now and they go to KU this Saturday. They could lose 3 in a row.

Baylor has already lost 2 games at home. This would be 3. That's not a sign of a very good team.

#1 seed back in play!! Season just reset. Doesnt happen often you drop to #20 and make it back to the top 5 ...in a months time👀. Normally you fall to #20 you are FUKED with all capitals to make it all the way back to #5 in a span of a WHOLhE FREAKING season.

Good thing about this team is nobody in the top five can deal with THE BIG O. I just don't see how we are not at least in the Elite 8 pencilled in with Oscar's rebounding and to a devoloping degree.. steals. He is stealing the ball ALoT lately. No way we can be beat in the first 3 games. I dont see it.
