That thread was just a bored starter for discussion on the what ifs for NU basketball. Most people thought NU had a good shot of winning this game then a puncher's chance at home against Iowa. Has been for some time. Years in fact. Hindsight 20/20 but its time to GLADLY move on from this waste of money, resources, facilities, fan support, and talent. People feeling sorry for him are idiots. Dude got millions, plenty of time and support, and coached a sport for petes sake. No one made him.

It was fairly easy over a year ago, you just didnt want to admit it. Youve been sugar coating ever since. Still are! Its insane!

No it wasn't all that easy a year ago to fire him. Easy for you maybe. Not easy for the AD. He got turned down by at least one prospective head coach. IF he had fired Miles after the year we had last year then struggled to make a hire like Pederson did, it would have been a PR disaster for NU. Now the national media etal will understand completely why Miles got canned. No doubt, Moos will have a good idea who the new coach will be before Miles is let go. Last year he stalled as long as he could and got no takers. This year should be different.
