To quote the great Pete Gillen... DUKE IS DUKEYou saw that Duke comeback last week, didn't you? Never give up
That's why the question started with IF. IF. You know the meaning of that word right? It wasn't a statement saying WHEN NU beats PSU. The word was IF. IF is a word that conveys a lack of confidence or question as to the probability of said happening...Winking....uh, yeah...
And Nebraska is still NebTo quote the great Pete Gillen... DUKE IS DUKE
You do realize that's a dead jackass in your GIF and not a horse right?@dinglefritz can we please now officially stop with the what if threads and holding on to the make-believe chance that miles can still save this thing and isnt gone? For the love of all things sane in this insane world, please stop.
Otherwise its just this.

Miles is a dead jackass too so it fits. And Nebraska is still Neb
You do realize that's a dead jackass in your GIF and not a horse right? That thread was just a bored starter for discussion on the what ifs for NU basketball. Most people thought NU had a good shot of winning this game then a puncher's chance at home against Iowa. Frankly, I thought they would lose this one.
Champ of what? I haven't expressed any sympathy for him. He's made millions, had his shot and has failed. He got another year out of Moos in exchange for a lower buyout. The decision is fairly easy now.Miles is a dead jackass too so it fits.
Has been for some time. Years in fact. Hindsight 20/20 but its time to GLADLY move on from this waste of money, resources, facilities, fan support, and talent. People feeling sorry for him are idiots. Dude got millions, plenty of time and support, and coached a sport for petes sake. No one made him.
Dingle youre already starting to become champ...

It was fairly easy over a year ago, you just didnt want to admit it. Youve been sugar coating ever since. Still are! Its insane!Champ of what? I haven't expressed any sympathy for him. No it wasn't all that easy a year ago to fire him. Easy for you maybe. Not easy for the AD. He got turned down by at least one prospective head coach. IF he had fired Miles after the year we had last year then struggled to make a hire like Pederson did, it would have been a PR disaster for NU. Now the national media etal will understand completely why Miles got canned. No doubt, Moos will have a good idea who the new coach will be before Miles is let go. Last year he stalled as long as he could and got no takers. This year should be different. It was fairly easy over a year ago, you just didnt want to admit it. Youve been sugar coating ever since. Champ is the guys name in the gif from anchorman.
And theres others on the board i was referring to with the sympathy point.
How do you get freaking steamrolled by PSU? Just when there is a slight bit of hope left they freaking **** the bed.
