Dee wins 7 to 2 with 2 nice takedowns and just missed a jump over your opponent takedown at the end of the match. He got a double at the beginning of the match on the edge after working about 20 seconds to finish. His second takedown was real sweet where is opponent pushed forward and he makes a slick little movement where his opponent pushes by and Dee gets behind and takes him down. Bianche is a goer and very tough but Dee handles him. Facundo's guy took a good shot which Facundo defends. Facundo gets the takedown and puts his opponent on his back without much resistance. I thought it looked like his opponent had enough in the 1st period. Dopp loses. Merrill much more aggressive and got 4 takedowns, 2 reshots from an angle and 2 high crotches and on the second high crotch he put his opponent on his back with a half and pin was fast. Mismatch. Cody looked much better than in the beginning of the year. Doucet dominated on his feet and gets a tech. mismatch. The guys we expect to wrestle good did. Is Jax wrestling in an open this weekend?HWT - Doucet with a 21-6 2nd period TF.

That’s kind of a surprising comment for Hamiti to make. Obviously Amine didn’t buy in but I would have thought Fish was bought in—albeit being a more limited wrestler overall. Unless there’s a different transfer that year that I’m just blanking onI remember Hamiti in an interview after Nationals talking about buying in to coach Taylor. Dean said it took him awhile to buy in but once he did, his wrestling world changed. He also said that it was obvious that 2 guys (transfers) bought in and 2 didn’t.
I was thinking about this statement last night watching the team. I didn’t see a starter that didn’t look bought in to Taylor’s system. The competition was not good but all of our guys did what they should have done, score takedowns and look for bonus points. I bet Little Rock wrestlers have sore legs today as this appeared to be “legs” week in practice.
