It's not even a racist thing for most as much as it's just perception. But Herro is every by the athlete that Dev Booker was here and a better athlete than Lamb. He isn't josh carrier or KWilt.

^^^Personally I like the fact that he's cocky. Takes balls to decommit from the home state school right before HS basketball season and hear it from every fan at every away game. Seems like he feeds off of that.

As long as he doesn't go Gracie Allen I'm fine with cocky. Just back it up and win.

Exactly. I love that he talks trash and has some swag. Him and Keldon Johnson. I wanna see that fire. Like how Westbrook plays ANGRY at all times. Love that.

All of our best players usually do (Wall, Cousins, Ulis, Booker, Murray, Monk, Fox).

Good points.. I didn't consider HIS team when I was about to make a post.. because the competition is also a bunch of Bieber clones who I'm not sure have hit puberty yet.

I'm sure Herro will be nice.. but I think the college game is going to be very cruel to him for his first year or two. Hope I'm wrong. And maybe when he has a better Kentucky team around him, he can flourish. Actually, does anyone have tape of him playing against better competition?

There are several tapes of him playing against blacks. Including one when Shaq is coaching against him. He can play no matter what

I love a guy who can get dribble separation and then pull up on a dime and stick a mid range jumper. Lots of money to be made with that.

I think.He could avg 10 a game just off jumpers. Hes a skilled player. Booker like, just not as athletic.

Also, as we know, Cal is all about defense, so hopefully Herro can move his feet and defend. I wish he was on this year's team though, as having a reliable outside shooter would be nice.

If you're worried about competition go watch the teams Zion Williamson plays against in high school and you'll feel better.

I agree, I think he has better handles than booker did though. Not that Booker was bad with the ball. Herro comes across as very fluid with the ball--no awkward movements. From what limited videos I've seen at the very least.

I'm interested to see if he continues to rise up the rankings. I'm very excited to have him!

Looks like a great shooter but the other team showed zero defense in that video. Herro reminded me of some Rex Chapman games where he was just way better than anyone else on either team.

Like literally 90% of incoming freshmen he will have to learn to play it . I can count on my fingers the number of kids who have played as freshmen who could guard. Doesn't matter as just like you played Murray , Booker , Monk ect even though they were bad defenders the same goes for Herro. And Herro is a better scorer then any of those guys.

Sounds great. If he can outshoot Booker I will do flips... not really, I am too fat.
