2 missed FG. Too many penalties. Too many blown opportunities on offense. Not playing well on a game we should be winning.

Good news for Tulsa at this point -- if you want to call it that -- is they've easily left 13 points out there. Two missed FGs and the overthrow of a wide open Keevan Lucas on his way into the end zone.

Bad news is TU defense wilting on Houston's last drive of the half.

If TU can make a few adjustments on offense, they'll be okay.

Thank goodness or defense is keeping us in this. I hate montys playcalling with the running game... We run up the middle... That's our only run... Nothing imaginitive. Great call on the WR pass but Floyd looks like he's never practiced that throw. With Danes overthrown td pass on the first quarter... Thats a two score lead at halftime thanks to our defensive stops.

This squad looks just like last year's on offense.
Houston's defense gets some credit for that, they are bringing pressure, which OU didn't do. They need to make halftime adjustments to take advantage of it. TU isn't executing well on offense either.

I dunno Chris, running it up the middle on first down every time is quite predictable. That's what BB did last year every first down: draw up the damn middle. Without fail, every time, made me kick the couch repeatedly and pissed me off. I'm getting that nagging inclination to kick the couch again. Why not bomb it long on first down? Take a damn gamble or something... Key and Keev have had their chances, keep after their secondary and blow this thing wide open.

Disgusted. Penalties and missed opportunities. No excuses, 30 more minutes to make up for the first half.

TU score plenty in OU. UH scores plenty on Louisville. Low scoring on each other.

But AAC stats are all because we suck at defense, right ESPN?

Offense playing ok but missing some opportunities. Evans missed a couple easy throws and should have run for 1st down on overthrown TD pass. Defensive line is ok but the rest of defense is very bad and slow!
Yep. We should be winning. Not well played 1st half.

I have it on good authority we're going to make a run at the scoreboard at the start of the second half.

Not to be a downer, but were missing a ton of our practice kicks warming up for the second half. What is going on?

It's really me. It wouldn't let me log in with my original screen name and some usurper created TUTypical2.

I can work with a screen name entendre but no way in hell will I be TUTypical3!

UH has very good corner backs. They cover very tight and can keep up with our receivers. They look better than OU's.

Where is Gold* and LEC?

I've been feeling creative. Do we play UTEP this year? I foresee some trolling collaborations in the near future that will set the new bar for generations of ITS members past, present and future.

After doing an incredible job against OU's defensive front, our O-line is getting dominated in this one. No holes in the running game, and our passing game has been completed disrupted by Houston's pressure & batted balls. O-line has to wake up if we are to have any chance.
