Point out that the Obama Administration looked at this and determined the ATF did not have authority to make this rule.

Who's the gun grabber?

President Cuck folded on the wall and used his executive powers to restrict gun rights. What a Tuesday.

Tweeting......so i see now your only problem with Trump is the tweetstorms......i have a few more than that , but this bump stock thing is just a carrot, nothing more ......& more gun laws .....make more laws that criminals wont abide by....nice , let uphold laws already on the books , & while we're at it lets allow more illegal alien in to commit crimes with the illegal guns that our government made illegal....what part of criminal do you not understand...laws are for law abiding citizens, law abiding citizens dont just start shooting people ....yes we need mental illness issues fixed ..but other than that ......anything they do is a feel good story

no wonder Trumpers have their panties in a wad today
Well that and their hero and many of their conspiracy theories came crashing back to Earth yesterday in a DC courtroom. It was a tough day, but alas, they will persist.

Thought you were knowlegeable about what this is all about. Technology theft, intellectual property and unfair trade practices. Given enough time, we can wreck china's economy. I don't like giving farmers welfare either, but we have been paying them for years not to grow things.

You hate America, we get it.
Nope. I love America, hence I hate hurting American consumers and American businesses with tariffs. We get it, you don't understand how any of this works, so it's easier to hide behind name calling and patriotism, ie - Trumpism. F'n boomers.

F u, I'm against the theft of our intellectual property, you don't have any intellect so you wouldn't understand, and unfair trade practices. In a perfect world, there wouldn't need to be any tariffs, the only perfect world exists in a liberals mind.

Want an example?

Their theft is rampant.

I have a shimano Stella fishing reel, its high end...500 or so depending on model and where you get it.

So these chinese reel companies will pop up and completely copy the design and make the reel and sell it for 50-100 dollars. They do a production run and sell them on amazon or anywhere they can until Shimano sues them and then they shut it down, name the company something else and do another big production run.

They are doing this with all sorts of productions, especially electronics.

They DO NOT abide by the rules.

@WVUCOOPER is fine with this since nobody would want to copy his intellect or lack thereof.

Really, you love sweat shops, forced labor, intellectual theft and illegal drugs pouring into the US. Your defense of China's trade practices makes you anti-american.

By raising tariffs on China on steel & aluminum products means its cheaper to produce it here but still raises prices on consumers....but it creates middle to high middle class jobs in areas we so desperately need them , yes we pay a little more for our rakes & shovels & cars .....but we pay less in crime cost ..we get people working which creates pride & dignity in a person get people off welfare & off the streets & it opens up many small businesses (dinners & such )i would rather pay a little more for my truck than a little more in taxes to do the same thing ...& if more people are making a decent pay they are most likely getting health benefits...a win win ....& the school systems would get better students cause mom & dad would be home more....dont know maybe im just living for the rainbow stew ....days of my childhood

I know you aren't anti american, what I can't figure out is why you don't support the effort to make china pay for it's theft and unfair trade practices. You probably think it can't be done, you might be right, but they have been costing us billions in theft and down right criminal trade practices. Trump's actions have gotten Europe to pay more for thier defense, gotten a new trade pact with Mexico and Canada, needs to be ratified so who knows what will happen there. We can leverage China with our economic might, why do you not see that the end product of this just might be worth a temporary pain. If we are still at this 6 months from now, then you would be right. I just think we will see a move in the next 2-3 months on both of our parts.

I support standing up to China....which is why I'm against cutting off our own dicks to do so. There is no "temporary pain", opportunities have been lost. Supply lines have been changed. Behaviors are changing. China can wait out a trade war....they are a communist dictatorship.

And put China to the side for a minute, what about the steel and aluminum tariffs on all countries?

No it doesn't.

but still raises prices on consumers
True dat.

but it creates middle to high middle class jobs in areas we so desperately need them
True, but it takes away MUCH more middle to high middle class jobs than it makes. Using tariffs just lets the government pick which middle class jobs to have, instead of the market.

Show me how it allows government to do that ? In my young life (47) ive seen what the decline of factory jobs has done in so many places , i get to travel alot .& the towns it has completely destroyed, maybe its my ignorance....im all for lets see what happens with this .im for fair trade , free trade if both countries have the same workers rights & epa regulations.

This line confused me. Show you how tariffs allow government to pick winners and losers, ie which middle class jobs are available? That's Tariff 101. They protect an industry (steel makers). That industry will then hire more workers. Earnings for the steel companies and hiring of steel employees, means the price of steel will go up. Steel prices going up devastates end users of steel (car manufacturers, household good manufacturers, and so on and so on) in America, meaning foreign end users of steel (their steel prices did not go up) can now sell their products for less than American businesses. That's the definition of government interference.

In my young life (47) ive seen what the decline of factory jobs has done in so many places , i get to travel alot .& the towns it has completely destroyed, maybe its my ignorance....
Not an easy or easy to hear answer to this problem, but it's not a new problem. Technology changes, behavior changes, markets change. Towns, areas, industries shouldn't just sit back and wait for the government to bring back their golden goose. Pittsburgh moved on and is flourishing. Check out Mobile, AL; Greenville, SC; Asheville, NC, etc, etc, etc. Change happens.

im all for lets see what happens with this
We already know how this turns out.

im for fair trade , free trade if both countries have the same workers rights & epa regulations.
I will never in a million years understand this logic. We want to have equal purchasing power with other countries? F that. I'll take being the bad *** country that buys what everyone else makes.
