I am sort of looking at getting a truck. I am leaning Ford f-150.

Chevy Colorado is second...

You bros that own a truck, what is your advice? Mind you, I would not be using this truck for anything truck related or anything manly. It is literally just to go to Costco, the bars and hit on girls half my age.

just make sure you leave your hitch set up and back into parking spots along sidewalks to intentionally piss people off and make it on the community 'yOu PaRk LiKe aN As$HoLe' facebook page.
"You SUBHUMAN RETARD, anyone that parks like that must not own multiple vacation homes!"

You assume that because I am poor???

But, yes, used!

...i'd need to know how many vacation properties you own to answer that..

....and the fact fewer and fewer people want to spend what it takes to buy a new half ton truck now.

....i always wanted a new Taco, their prices cured me of that desire.

In all honesty, if they weren't so gawd damn ugly, I'd suggest a Ridge. But gawd those things are wretched looking.

Now...for every vacation home I own, do I add another # on the truck?

Like f-150 if I am a loser with just one vacation home?

F-250 if I am crushing it and have two vacation homes?

Those Brats.. the right ones, bring fukcing bank. Its insane.. what's more is we all thought that having 2 seats in the bed was fine. Juat fine. Still do.

Why would any couple ride in the bed of a truck....without their baby? I can't believe Subaru didn't accommodate with a baby seat back there and a place to tie the dog.

Your local fire fighting hero’s would have the best advice for you in regards to buying a big truck

What’s your price point? You mentioned both an F-150 and a Chevy Colorado, one’s a full size and the other a mid size. For your purposes I’d go midsize in a Ford Ranger, Nissan Frontier, or Toyota Tacoma. If I was buying new I would only consider the Nissan as it has a V6 naturally aspirated engine. I do not trust the reliability or longevity of turbos over 100K miles.

I currently have two small trucks both regular cab inline 4s and older than what I recommended. A 2010 Ford Ranger and a 2003 Toyota Tacoma.

So a lot of midsize ones are tough for me. I am super handsome and tall, so fitting in one kind of sucks, because of my good looks.

Price point, well, under 30k...ironically under 30 for age in women too :)

I purchased a F-150 King Ranch Powerboost in 2025. So far, I have approx. 10,000 miles on it. No issues whatsoever and I've averaged 20.7 MPG.

It has all the power you'll ever need to pass someone but still gets excellent MPG in the city and highway.

I hear you I’m 6’2 and I barely fit into my two trucks. Somedays I wish I would have gotten an F150 but didn’t like the MPG for daily driving. I’d definitely go with an F-150 for you, probably mid to late 2010’s V6 with low mileage. Just do your research because Ford is hit or miss(GM has been a complete dud for 20+ years).

I didn't want to get assaulted by the Ford guys but I think the Ram is completely bad*ss - especially if it's murdered out (black on black on black).
I agree.

I am not a "brand guy" so I don't care if it is a Ford or Dodge or anything. I just care about the look.

Too many electronics, emissions, dynamic fuel management, power train and other problems on new trucks these days. Beware of buying any full size trucks new. Maybe the Ram with the Hemi paired with the 8 speed transmission. Ram is putting five years and 100,000 mile warranties on that combo so that might be the safest bet.

..... the good news is the Ram gives you a really nice warranty, the bad news is you're guaranteed to use it.

I think the Ram 1500 is hands down better looking than any other truck on the market. But that's just my opinion. I don't know which one has better performance or capabilities overall. Always loved the HEMI growl and the Hurricane HO looks impressive.
