Saw some smoke we could be adding this dude. That would be awesome! KR & another WR that can fly.
He's in the student directory but has a lil academic hurdle yetWow! Is this real? Seems too good to be true.
Fixable in a spring and summer session with NU's academic counselors....He's in the student directory but has a lil academic hurdle yet
You forgot the winky face at the end RollingLaughFixable in a spring and summer session with NU's academic counselors....
I'm really not privy to what his academic "issues" are but I can't remember the last time we had a guy not be able to get eligible if he put in any kind of effort at all.You forgot the winky face at the end RollingLaugh
There's a rumor that we might have lost a WR who played for us this past year. I won't repeat his name because I don't know if it was just somebody blowing smoke. With the coaching turnover there are going to be transfers after the spring depth chart comes out. We've only got a couple of early enrollees so I think we've got until fall to make room for new players.Aren’t we going to need a bunch of guys leaving to make room for these rumored
Folks??
Say it ain’t so, dingle! There's a rumor that we might have lost a WR who played for us this past year. I won't repeat his name because I don't know if it was just somebody blowing smoke. SIAP that Martin is the one who may be leaving. One of my and dingle’s favorites, and also one of the more consistent WR we have.I hope its not Betts, there's a ton of potential in that kid.

I hope this rumor is not true, as I’ve only seen mention of it one time on this board.
however, trading basically anyone on the team for the LA 100M champ is a huge win, so no tears over spilt milk here.
Exactly, sounds very minor and like you said “fixable”I'm really not privy to what his academic "issues" are but I can't remember the last time we had a guy not be able to get eligible if he put in any kind of effort at all.
He ain’t comin to play skool!Exactly, sounds very minor and like you said “fixable”
Yeah, I was wondering - who's keeping the spreadsheet on all these transfers? Like, oops, I forgot that I spent a semester at Missouri State back in '19, my bad. :Cool:How can Martin leave AGAIN? Dude has played for 3 schools already.
Exactly, the kid wasn’t flunking out @ LSU. Just some technicality on a class or grade. Kid is here to return kicks and catch a few passes. He ain’t comin to play skool!
Am I missing the sarcasm with you saying one of the most consistent WR's we have?SIAP that Martin is the one who may be leaving. One of my and dingle’s favorites, and also one of the more consistent WR we have.

At times it seemed like he was Martinez's favorite target, but then he was hurt this year and Martinez found different favorites (Toure). He's a good player but not sure how much we'd miss him. I certainly hope that Joseph is finally the guy that can perform the miracle of getting our most talented receivers on the field instead of the guys that "practice right."Am I missing the sarcasm with you saying one of the most consistent WR's we have?
Yeah, I think there is a lot of talent at WR with some of the young guys being "really" good. Martin looked ok 2 years ago, but this year with him being hurt, it was kind of just blah. I'm not concerned about WR and if Martin moves on, he moves on.At times it seemed like he was Martinez's favorite target, but then he was hurt this year and Martinez found different favorites (Toure). He's a good player but not sure how much we'd miss him. we should quite literally never have kids who are academically ineligible. there are staffers for that.Exactly, the kid wasn’t flunking out @ LSU. Just some technicality on a class or grade. Kid is here to return kicks and catch a few passes.
If Joseph hold true to what he supposedly told the receiver room, they will have to put in the work in practice in order to get on the field. Potential is potential. Nothing else.At times it seemed like he was Martinez's favorite target, but then he was hurt this year and Martinez found different favorites (Toure). I think you are going to see Hardy/Neville/Grimes a lot more than you think. Martin might be the odd guy out.Palmer was also LSU's punt returner. We could have an absolutely loaded WR room next year.

This doesn't even include guys like Hardy and Nixon. Obviously some of the guys not getting reps may choose to leave.

look at these dudes! WR was - by far - our highest-graded position group this year. these guys took AM from being the worst deep ball passer in the B1G 2 straight years to one of the best without getting even 1% more accurate.Palmer was also LSU's punt returner. We could have an absolutely loaded WR room next year.

I hope we bring in that TCU commit RB. Kids looks real good. We need a big time RB.look at these dudes! WR was - by far - our highest-graded position group this year. I hope Thompson chucks it 50x a game next year Smokin
21.11 in the 200 is damn near Olympic caliber speed. If you win the 100m and 200m in Louisiana...you are fast AF
I have no clue, but Joseph was his position coach, so that doesn’t hurt…Why again do we think this dude is going to come to Nebraska? Just because he played for Mickey or is there actually any source that says he's interested? FWIW Mickey wasn't his primary or secondary recruiter
True.. I was just curious if there was any substantial reporting on it or if its just hope because of what you stated.I have no clue, but Joseph was his position coach, so that doesn’t hurt…
He committed a day or two ago to Ole Miss.I hope we bring in that TCU commit RB. Kids looks real good. We need a big time RB.
Zach Evans, who has already played at TCU for two years, committed to Old Mississippi. Ajay Allen, a senior in high school from Louisiana and a TCU commit, is mulling offers from other schools, including Nebraska. He committed a day or two ago to Ole Miss.

Wrong guy, not Zach Evans, I was talking about Ajay Allen. His film looks really good.He committed a day or two ago to Ole Miss.
