I would love to see this young man have a big game in his hometown tonight. That would really be nice if it were to happen.

I want this and I think the CATS need it. His scoring was solid against ND and, frankly, we needed a few of his key first half buckets to keep us close. His turnovers were atrocious though. If he can clean those up, I think Trey can be the x factor tonight.

A lot of media are saying he can't guard decker. I ask, can decker guard lyles?

Your memory must be fuzzy. Randle had 16 points against UW last year.

Not sure. The more I see if Dekker, the more doubt I have. Trey is still wet behind the ears. But I might be buying the Wisconsin hype machine. He hasn't had anyone his size guard him all year probably so I don't think anyone can say.

if he can shut him down from 3 that might be all we need. So what if he gets 10 points on straight line drives. Just make him shoot contested 3's. Make him go 2 for 8. We will get rebound and have more possessions.

Trey got burnt by Conaughton numerous times when closing out on him at the 3 point line. I'm certain Dekker will do the same thing after watching that game. He'll shot fake and leave Trey holding his jock. He charges out to hard and gets caught standing up. At the same time, I bet the coaches know this and worked on him not getting faked out like that.

Connaughton had 8 points on 3-10 shooting from the field and 1-4 from 3pt range. Not too shabby, I'd say.

Trey won't be guarding Dekker WCS will. Trey will guard Hayes and KAT will guard K.
The real question is who will guard WCS and Trey. Whoever it is wil;l away at least 5 inches each.

Yeah he only had 8 points but some were complete breakdowns on Lyles part which hopefully he corrects. But yeah, overall we kept him in check. Go Cats

Wisconsin will probably expend more energy of defense than they have all year.

I think Lyles in the post should be part of the game plan, no way anyone short of Kaminsky could stop Trey consistently in the post. I think Willie in the post will be tough also. Their one big can't guard all of our 7 footers. I think we will have to be cold as ice and Wisconsion has to shoot over 45% for this to be close.

More times than not a kid doesn't play well in front of a family crowd, but here's to hoping he will be the exception...
