We all enjoy watching the Blue Devils. Sometimes some on here go overboard with the criticism of the players.
Lively, Flip, Roach, Foster all come to mind on receiving some harsh criticism.
Likewise some of Duke’s consistent success sans not Winning it all since 2015 just gets thrown to the wayside.
Being Consistently Good is not a given, it’s Work.
like shey said, it’s onto next season. We all want Duke to Win #6, but Final 4s and National Championships aren’t participation trophies and handed to every team, they are Earned.

What’d I do to you? You can be buddies with him, but being pissed at me for not appreciating his remark about our guys and how our season ended is weird to me. Your dad would’ve lit his @SS up far greater than I did. Wish you understood that. Oh well, I won’t apologize for being a Duke fan first and foremost.
To be honest it only seems like you point out certain posters that don’t match your fandom. My dad wouldn’t have cared it’s a game . I mean we could be like the other boards and be in complete melt down but I thought the joke was ok given Cayden should never forget that shot and use it for motivation next year .
One thing I don't see anyone talking about is what Jon is/might be doing behind the scenes with current players; Evans, Foster, Cameron?? He sure seems to be well a well liked players' coach. Can he get these guys to buy into his plan and get them to stay even though some might get less playing time? I am thinking, yes he is! At this point nothing will surprise me!
Looks like he cancelled the Louisville visit. Guess just waiting for official announcement for us.
Today is also the last day to enter the transfer portal. So unless Foster/Wilkins do it last minute we're getting back both. Wow never ever saw a world where I thought we would have back Cayden, Foster, Rippey, and now looks like Blackwell. Wow just wow
Yeah that is a ton of guard depth, but man how does that work? If Caleb is back with Rippey, Foster, Cayden, and Blackwell I’d imagine Howard will de commit as that’s a ton of depth. He could maybe play the 3 but it’s looking like Sarr might be back and Howard is 6’4 so more of a SG than SF.

When our team is being discussed, why does Bryson Howard not get talked about? He's a lefty, and the son of Josh Howard (WF), who's rated as the 15th overall recruit.

I believe there was a video leading up to the 23-24 season where Coach Scheyer was holding practice and told his guys “we have 12 capable starters here, just because you started last game doesn’t mean you will start the following game if your work drops off”

I’ve brought up Howard and believe this is where a three guard defensive line up can cause havoc when it comes to a full court press.
Blackwell official and sounds like Foster stays.
If they get Graves, man hats off to Jon. It will be the most versatile team he's had. Each guy brings a little something different to the table.
You can tell the way the year ended, mainly lacking playable depth, is a mistake he's not making again.
Admittedly, I wasn't super pumped going in to this last season as I thought Jon made a mistake not bringing in more depth from the portal.

This is not a knock on Cooper or Cam, because they were two of my favorite players to watch, but I'm really hoping that moving forward, Jon doesn't have any more teams where one guy has to get about 20 or so for the team to be at its best. On paper, this might be shaping up to be that kind of team. If so, Duke could be scary good.

If cam returns and say Sarr with Allen , hope the College basketball world would be ready because you are right pisgah, straight talent .
Incredibly deep at guard which we all know helps during March. So many things to point out about the roster next year but I’m telling everyone now- Rippey is legit and I think even with how deep the backcourt is- he’s our starting and heavy minute PG. he’s Uber talented.
