Are we talking Nebraska, chain franchise joint(Martian Boogie reference), sole proprietorship?
I have 3 & they are all tied for first,
Sit N Bull in Giltner
Lighthouse in Omaha
Lazzari's in Lincoln

You can use whatever criteria you want. Just curious, can I find Sparky's at all 3 of those locations?

I think Bernies is no more. They closed and then someone else reopened it but it was not at all the same. So they closed again I thought but not 100% sure.

Correct... They couldn't do what Bernie and his family had done since he started the business from the very get go.

Sparky,
Please tell me more about this place in Giltner. I don't usually drive through Giltner, but would make a short detour for great pizza. If I'm calling them for takeout, what do you recommend?

I worked at Godfathers in college so that place has a soft spot in my heart because it left a large bulge in my stomach area....also like Don Carmelos

That is a very strong possibility. Oh hell with it. Yes they all use it & have great results. Lighthouse Pizza in Omaha was voted one of the top 50 pizzas in the US by "Food Network" & they call it the "Sparky Slice".

Little place in Giltner that is locally owned & is one of the best little gems in Central NE. It's just a place that is making a name for themselves. Small town Nebraska. Every Thursday, Friday & Saturday night from 5-9.

The Danish Baker in Dannebrog
Tom serves a fantastic pizza there and plays a mean guitar. BTW, his brother-in-law is actually one of my best friend & I'll never forget the day we moved Tom & Carol in there. Man, that took a ton of beer. BTW. not only is their pizza great but there is a reason the place is call "The Danish Baker".

1.) Dante - By far my favorite. So unique and you get this chili oil to put on the pizza; it's truly amazing.
2.) La Casa
3.) Sortinos
4.) Pizza West
5.) Lighthouse

One of the best specials in town (Omaha) is Sgt. Peffers in Omaha. Two slices and a drink for $6. Good pizza. Plenty filling.

For a chain, Sam and Louie’s.

Big chain, Godfathers taco pizza.

Small town, Casey’s or Gambinos.

IMO that usually happens with every great product. Heck Pizza Hut used to be great(waaaaay back). Now it's like eating a salt lick.

By the way, put some Sparky's in your mac and cheese.
Mac and cheese will never be the same once you do it.
Thank you sir. BTW, I made some homemade mac & cheese(homemade sauce with cheese & freshly cooked macaroni) with potato chips and melted butter on top , then added Sparkys from an earlier suggestion from you. HOLY CRAP. Thank you sir. You are a Rockstar.
