Les Miles. He would turn this thing around in 2 years.
How long did it take for us to build a new locker room? Bank vault was empty and took a huge donationLes Miles. He would turn this thing around in 2 years.
Les Miles. He would turn this thing around in 2 years.
RR has produced some good offensive teams but trouble and law suits follow him around like a black cloud. In a huge market like RU is in the media would eat him alive and we all know how well RU handles scandal.Rich Rodriguez... he runs his system.. he recruited NJ regularly with wvu. I'm sure he'd get the o going
Tressel?Les Miles. He would turn this thing around in 2 years.
They also lost to Liberty 52-10 the same Liberty we play next yearHow about the ODU coach. Beat VT today with a bunch of 0-2 stars!!! That says alot about how clueless this staff is....
No... LOL. He would be as bad as ash. Well, not that bad, but hed be awfulLes Miles. He would turn this thing around in 2 years.
He's not for us... I'd rather we throw the bank at Rich Rodriguez and the staff he would put together.Les Miles. He would turn this thing around in 2 years.
Ugh another low comingThey also lost to Liberty 52-10 the same Liberty we play next year

I think he may have some attachement about returning to coaching and NCAA sanctions where he goes. That may have expired, not sure. Probably sits in his AD office at Youngstown St dressed like the Monopoly Guy and counts his Ohio State money.Tressel?
You think Flood and Rice caused chaos with their antics? Rich would make them look like angels. He can’t keeps his pants on and his financial dealings are reguralry the subject of major lawsuits. He's not for us... I'd rather we throw the bank at Rich Rodriguez and the staff he would put together.
You would take Ash over Tressel? InterestingNope he's no longer on probation. I'll pick Ash over him anyway
You're part of the problem... what keeps this state from the greatness it deserves. You think Flood and Rice caused chaos with their antics? Rich would make them look like angels. He can’t keeps his pants on and his financial dealings are reguralry the subject of major lawsuits.
Hell yeah! He's more in tuned... Jim Tressel would definitely be back if he thought he could still do it. The man spirit is crushed by the nature of college football... if it was up too old Jim the players will be getting paid. You would take Ash over Tressel? Interesting
In “tuned” with what? Just curious. You seem to be a Ash supporter and that’s very admirable. I’m just leaning towards the conclusion the guy is lost and the longer RU has him the worse it’s going to get. Be interesting to hear what you have seen out him that points to an eventual turn around. Heck I think most fans would be happy with an iota of improvement on any aspect of the game.Hell yeah! Dude you piss me off... your just a voice in the National chorus. Our pessimistic media dupe people like you.. at the end of the day the program is the only thing that gets hurt. You would take Ash over Tressel? Interesting
Ash sucks. But I don't know how anyone can say we didn't get better from year 1 to year 2, going 2-10 with no conference wins and 4 shutout losses by more then 40 points to 4-8 with 3 conference wins and being mildly competitive against Michigan and PSU into the second half.the one thing most of us can agree on is right now ASH isnt "getting it done".
We have actually gotten WORSE each of the past 3 years.
We also all know we dont have the money to get out of this mess.
Looks like ASH will get another couple years to improve.
Its gonna be painful..for sure
Who's bank? The jar is empty.Les Miles. He would turn this thing around in 2 years.
Whatever. Reading your posts make me dizzy.Dude you piss me off... your just a voice in the National chorus. Our pessimistic media dupe people like you.. at the end of the day the program is the only thing that gets hurt.
With all the NFL talent that has come out of RU the last decade, I’m in disbelief that these players haven’t given back to the program financially. Weight room improvements and locker room upgrades should be financed by pro alumni support. There’s a disconnection between the program and former players. I blame the administration on that.Who's bank? The jar is empty.
NFL careers are incredibly short and that money is not guaranteed in the long run. They would be stupid to throw money at us.With all the NFL talent that has come out of RU the last decade, I’m in disbelief that these players haven’t given back to the program financially. Which leads to the biggest problem, he did that with Flood's players.Ash sucks. WVU paid for their weight room almost entirely on Former players in the league. Brice Irvin wrote and check for $1 million after his second contract. My HS re did their weight room from NFL guys donating their super bowl checks. It can be done. RU has A LOT of players in the league.NFL careers are incredibly short and that money is not guaranteed in the long run. They would be stupid to throw money at us.
It would be far more productive of Rutgers to be sourcing the thousands of alum who are on Wall Street or managing funds and doing very well for themselves. Which, from what I hear, Hobbs is doing a good job of.
What we do need, however, is for more of our ultra-rich alum (Home Depot founder, ex-Ford CEO, Goldman President) to start throwing serious money at us. Not sure if Hobbs has made inroads in that domain
