He'll always be undersized and I imagine he wants to get back closer to home, his parents have seen him play like twice since he's been in Lincoln. It's understandable.
Other than maybe the family thing, it makes no sense. None. He's going to have to sit out a year unless the NCAA really relaxes the rules. Maybe with the coaching change they'll grant him immediate eligibility. I smell a Hunter rat on this one. This one hurts but IF we can keep the guys sitting out this year and the signees we may not miss him all that much.

I don’t like the transfer world of today, but it’s what we have to live with and he’s doing what he thinks is best for him.

I get the feeling that even though you never like to watch your own leaving, we're going to be one of the teams to benefit from this the most in the coming years.

Palmer/Copeland have put Nebraska pretty positive on the +/- scale of transfers the last couple years.

Wonder if he was attending classes, the grammar in that statement was brutal.

I agree. He’s a pretty athletic player who can play defense pretty well. If he can develop a jump shot, I think he can be a pretty good contributor.
Love Harris. I think he's got a good feel for the game and no, he's not going to be a shooting guard, but he can finish around the rim and would give coach another way to score if the 3's aren't falling.

I wish him luck. He's a good player but his "type" is probably the most easily replaced. Any team in the country can load up the bus with 6'2" shooting guards that are average from 3. We need a unicorn or two (athletic bigs that can shoot).

I agree, of all positions, his is the easiest to replace, but it's not like Nebraska has had a bus load of guys who can drive and shoot from the 3. I liked his game and he has promise to improve over the next two seasons. Oh well. It's done. Next.

Nobody. I thought it was tradition to say that after someone leaves, kinda like Iowa Sucks. I wish him the best in all his future endeavors.
So you like Cheerios?? LoL

I knew what you originally meant and laughed.

He actually did a helluva job guarding guys much bigger than himself late this year. His length and athleticism made up for some of his size disadvantage.

Interesting. I would have thought he would be excited about the opportunity to play for Hoiberg. The style of play fits him.
I really don't follow basketball that much. So I can't say for sure. I do wonder if the same thing that happened under Riley in football happened in basketball too. Both nice guy coaches, who let the kids dictated a bit to much on how hard they worked, when they worked and how much effort they put in. Frost came in and the guys who thought they deserved something left. Might see the same thing in basketball. Guys that don't want to work for it will probably end up leaving. I have no idea if Allen leaving is a result of that or not. I might have nothing to do with it at all.
