He'll always be undersized and I imagine he wants to get back closer to home, his parents have seen him play like twice since he's been in Lincoln. It's understandable.Interesting. I would have thought he would be excited about the opportunity to play for Hoiberg. The style of play fits him.
Good luck buddy.Would rather play in a Mile’s offense than a Hoiberg O????
I’m very confused......
Hate it myself but ya better get used to it.I'm not in love with this modern age of player transfers.
Buh-bye
Ultimately, I think it's best for both parties. This gives Fred another spot to go out and get a guy that fits his system and helps flip the roster that much quicker. Turnover is good right now.Seems a little quick. But if you don't want to be here, ya don't want to be here. Good luck and best wishes.
Heiman might be better off redshirting next year. Probably should have redshirted this year. It was pretty much a wasted year and he has a long ways to go.When Hoiberg said today he wanted a fast paced offense, my 1st thought was Heiman is gonna be left behind. I dont see him adapting to that.
Heiman should have absolutely redshirted this year. He desperately needs at least 30 pounds on him. He's a project big man, which is the best Miles could ever do. Hopefully FH and MA can snag us a true big asapHeiman might be better off redshirting next year. Probably should have redshirted this year. Makes you think he was gone no matter what happened with Miles.Doesn't even thank coach miles. Nice touch .
I imagine at least 1 more opens up with Akenten. Also wouldn’t be surprised if Thor went back home to play.Seemed like a good player and he still may turn out to be, but the team sure played better after he got hurt and his departure does open up a third scholarship for the new staff. Benefits both parties.
Couldn't agree more. I always thought he checked out before the conference tourney .Makes you think he was gone no matter what happened with Miles.
If we can get Roby, Dachon Burke, Jervay Green, and Amir Harris to stay, we'll have a decent nucleus next year. Need a couple of grad transfers and put 30 more pounds on Brady Heiman.
Who pissed in your Cheerios
Yeah what a terribly rude statement he posted.Doesn't even thank coach miles. Nice touch .
Not pissing or moaning...simply using his statement to show he was already out the door .if the guy doesn't want to stay, leave. Get the **** out.Yeah what a terribly rude statement he posted.
Good Lord, some people just live to piss and moan.

Amir doesn't fit the new offense at all, he is one of the worst shooting guards in college basketball. He's a great driver, defensive player but can't hit "the broad side of a barn".
I don't see Harris becoming a great scorer, but he's sure not a guy I would want to run off. If Harris stays, I like Hoiberg's chances of turning him into a good contributor.Amir doesn't fit the new offense at all, he is one of the worst shooting guards in college basketball. I agree. He’s a pretty athletic player who can play defense pretty well. If he can develop a jump shot, I think he can be a pretty good contributor.I don't see Harris becoming a great scorer, but he's sure not a guy I would want to run off. He mentioned the "skill development program" twice. I will be interested in learning how this differs from "practice". It almost sounds like a Coach Verduzco type of thing where they focus on the eyes, feet, shoulders, etc. and when those are right, everything else works.maybe you heard Fred talk today about player development?
