Never understood the point of whining about the team in the future. There will be plenty to whine about after it happens every single year no matter how good the team is, so why not stick to that?

Yes the clearly the experience and maturity of UL made a difference yesterday against UK. Just think if the tards are young and inexperienced, UK would have won by 60 instead of 29. But have no fear little one, UL’s 50 to 60 point beatdowns will start next year against UK. Depends on whether this team can play on the level they played yesterday consistently. More games, more experience and we might see this team pick up the pace. Yes, experience is great but, that will take you only so far. Talent with that goes farther and these guys have talent that needs experience and it is coming. I guess what I am saying is that their ceiling is higher than most teams out there. It just depends on how long it takes them to get there.
That's a fair statement. Just think many are getting a ' Fools Gold ' feeling from yesterday's win, UofL is not that good, and they have a temporary HC.

Cats played great yesterday, but we are not a top 5 team right now because of the trash effort against UCLA. Nothing wrong with calling it what it was but these guys can grow from it.

Ok, and ? Since when is an elite 8 year with a team of barely 18 year olds a bad thing ? As I’ve said a million times (as have many others ) for the most part Cal has us in probable / decent contention for a FF run ever year. Once you get to the EE/FF you have just as good a chance as any to bring home the title.
Literally most years since Cal has been here he has had us in a position to win a title come March. What more could you possibly ask for in a coach? Which other coach would you want? Sans coach K

Considering we’ve only won 8 titles in like 100 years I’m guessing you’d be miserable most of the time ? Before Cal got here we hadn’t won a title since 1998. Before 96 it was the 70’s.

We definitely have some lumps coming to us still. I wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up with more than 5 losses. However the people who were ready to give up on us should know to wait until February, especially now.
