Wonder what Brad Stevens would think of coming back to college, he’d be number uno on my list - he might develop and keep a core of players.
But would he do better than 82% wins, 4 final fours and a title in 8 years? Probably not - at least that would be a fool's bet. Anyway, it doesn't matter - posters like you prove nothing is ever good enough. Win a hundred in a row and lose the next one, you're an idiot according to the braintrust...

Well Cal wins at a great clip and that's good. But the other quote is losing its zip. I remember when it was 4 FFs and a title in 6 years, soon to be 9.

Not hammering Cal but if he doesn't change something the results are not getting better from this point. If most of these guys leave when AT MOST two are marginally ready then the future is not that bright as far as winning it all.

If the guys come back that should then next year could possibly be special.

Very youthful and that's why I had us with 6-10 losses before the season started. I think we can still make a nice March run but need to get Baker and/or Vanderbilt playing.
A real test nobody is talking about is UGA in two days. Can this young team put this rout behind them or will they bounce badly Sunday?

Who knows, but they are showing signs at times of improving, but if they take a significant step back at some point, it could happen but as long as they make improvements overall from time to time. And they could still lose games as they get better, since they have some tough road games.

Diallo has gotten better each game. That has been good to see. Green for the most part has, Alexander is getter better and better (and both him and Green are so important), Knox just needs to keep trying, and if we can get consistency between Richards, SKJ, PJ and WG then things should be fine. PJ so far has been the biggest issue especially since Vanderbilt has been out.

This team will be fine if they play like they did the second half. Good defense in the last five minutes of the first half and the second half. However, Knox needs to quit playing lazy. That’s why he doesn’t defend, rebound, and gets in foul trouble. He needs an attitude or a motor. He could take us to the next level if he’d get some passion about him.

LOL at the OP . At the very worst we end the season the top 10 and lose in the elite 8 . I predict a final 4 run with a loss in the semi final which we make right by going 38-2 next season and winning it all with a roster of Green/Alexander/Herro/Johnson/Baker/Quick/PJ/Vanderbilt/Wiseman/Zion/SKJ/Tai

Here come the low post count posters starting threads. Go figure!
I have been on here for 12 years and have less than 3000 posts. I use this site mostly for the skinny on UK as I live our of state. So, how many posts does one require to propel him into a recognized poster status? Reading some of the posts reminds me that age is not a sign of maturity. I will admit the original poster does sound like someone trying to get attention. But I still maintain it's the substance of lack of that determines the post Not the number of posts.
