No need for paper towels . Why not just use a regular towel like my family does ? Replace it when needed with a clean one . Saves a lot of money.
You are thankfully one of the very few ...Shop Rite has been able to support the majority of their customers with all their needs and those people in the chain deserve our appreciation... you personally may not like them but they didn’t get to where they are by accident.
We used to use soft soap but now we fill our soap dispensers with body wash . If the body wash is good for my head , chest , knees , and feet it's good for my hands.
It’s fine for perhaps a bath towel but if you need to wash your hands multiple times then I would believe that’s not as safe... but I see your point.
I don't buy antibacterial. I feel it's how you wash and the amount of time that gets those germies gone!It was hard to find here until recently. I saw a lot of "anti-bacterial" hand soap which is much more expensive so i didn't buy but not the regular cheap stuff which works just fine thank you. Bought this for a buck just yesterday
I have been going to my local Stop and Shop recently instead of the Piscataway Shop Rite, which is on my way home from work. There really haven't been any shortages of either TP or paper towels there that I have seen, maybe on one trip. In the beginning of all this that store was really struggling to keep up but is doing fine now.
For what it's worth I was in Costco Sunday, and they had tons of Softsoap 2-packs, toilet paper and paper towels. Although so many carts going out of there seemed to have the paper towels and TP. I guess people are still stocking up. Who knows.
It’s a commodity now. It will be like any other slice in then in the near future. Like cigarettes, high taxing will keep it inflated.

yes what you say may be true but most people have little idea with the hand wash thing even people who clean freaks.
It’s a vicious cycle. When you notice certain supplies are in short supply and then one day you walk into Costco and they have them in stock, you’re much more likely to buy them straight away instead of waiting until you run out which then quickly depletes the store’s stock. I’m guilty of this as well.

so tonight stopped in and the PT aisle was cleaned out except for about 10 8 packs of Regal..amazing they were almost out for 2 days again
Same here with the hand shaking. No one has backed away when I put my hand out.
A friend of ours is a local warehouse manager for Stop & Shop. She said about a month ago paper supplies were getting low. I haven't noticed it but did pick up an extra pack of TP and paper towels as a result.
was at at target yesterday...cleaning aisles were picked clean except for some offbrand alcohol based wipes. PT were nowhere to be seen.

Went to the Monty SR this afternoon. The paper aisle was about half full and had everything stocked (TP, PT, tissues, paper plates, napkins).

I would tend to believe Shop Rite is also in mid stream of changing over it’s entire brands’s name to Bowl n Basket and the Bird N ??? ...so that and the fact that suppliers were behind for what 3-4 months on those product lines...especially paper towels and TT...
Was shocked yesterday AM. My ShopRite had the small size canisters of Lysol wipes. I actually didn't know they made a smaller size.

I went to an ENT doctor yesterday and the first thing he did when he entered the room was to shake my hand. I was a little surprised at that and also when he said he wouldn’t be wearing a mask if it wasn’t for company policy. But what do ear, nose and throat doctors know about Covid?
