Everyone is playing their best ball of the season, especially the guards. Thankfully, we’re peaking at the right time. Just want one win in the Big Ten tournament, so that we’re well rested for the NCAAs.
Easy buddy.....let’s get in first.Everyone is playing their best ball of the season, especially the guards. Thankfully, we’re peaking at the right time. Just want one win in the Big Ten tournament, so that we’re well rested for the NCAAs.
I agree with the sentiment that we could play our way into the sweet 16, but if we’re seeded as an 8 or 9 that means we’d have to beat a 1 seed to get there. Tall order.
what? No FF prediction??
I can't say that until I see where we are headed. I mean the consensus says we'll be an 8 seed, if that means a game against Kansas in the second round you can say goodbye to that dream.

Agree!Rutgers fans leave in fear of Myles Johnson getting in foul trouble. What if Donald Igwebuike gets in foul trouble? They play a pretty slow tempo and don't shoot it that great.
They are certainly beatable.
I would definitely not say that everyone is playing their best ball of the season. I won't slam any kids in this thread, but it's obvious who is not playing well right now.
I said this months agoShouldn't be any push back with this. There is no reason why we can't be one of the 16 teams that make it ti weekend #2.
enough kids are playing well to give us a shot at significant success. We played a tough schedule and blew out 2 Top 10 teams. Anything is possible.
On the bright side, in NIT, they would likely get two or three home games and maybe make it to MSG. Question: Is it better to make it to NIT final 4 or to go to NCAA and get bounced in the first round???
Gotta be in it (matchup against #1) to win it.Lol we went from we may not make the tournament to we can be a sweet sixteen team to we can beat the #1 team in the nation. I mean the national championship is not that far of a step from there.
I think I would rather be a 10 seed. 8/9 you get the 1 seed in the second round
Every time someone brings up an NIT run when we are on our way to the NCAA tournament a unicorn loses its hornAm I alone in missing Peter Kiss threads?
Thought the same thing!Easy buddy.....let’s get in first.
Al...peaking? We lost 3 in a row before last night. LOL.
Both true. May not make tournament. Can be sweet sixteen team.Lol we went from we may not make the tournament to we can be a sweet sixteen team to we can beat the #1 team in the nation. I mean the national championship is not that far of a step from there.
I guess Al is kind of slacking. Hell with Sweet 16 or Final Four, just anoint us as National Champs.what? No FF prediction??
It's like that every few weeks but a different kid or two each time.I would definitely not say that everyone is playing their best ball of the season. I won't slam any kids in this thread, but it's obvious who is not playing well right now.
:Laughing:Laughing:LaughingAh **** now we're not getting in for sure.
We beat the 9th ranked team in the country last night. There are only eight spots above that.Lol we went from we may not make the tournament to we can be a sweet sixteen team to we can beat the #1 team in the nation. I mean the national championship is not that far of a step from there.
I believe everyone agrees we have the potential to make a run in the tourney........but first and foremost that is contingent IF we make it in.
I was just calling out Al because he’s saying we’re “peaking” after last nights game...LOL. C’mon Al.....we’ve been peaking 18 out 19 games at the RAC this year!!! And we lost 3 in a row before last night!!!! If that’s peaking, what are all the other teams in the country doing?
As far as the tourney, we play great D, don’t think anyone really wants to play us.
We've lost 3 of 4 and 6 of 9. Good stuff.Everyone is playing their best ball of the season, especially the guards. Thankfully, we’re peaking at the right time. . . . .
