Social media is very much engaged and involved in the thinking and actions behind people these days.

I agree, what Trump is doing right now is disgraceful, and he’s definitely part of it.

But if this was 20 years ago, What Trump is doing wouldnt move the needle much.

It’s a real sociological event that’s been happening the past decade. The biggest sociological experiment ever conducted. It’s negative side effects on society is extremely evident.
I agree. I'll add this, had he done this 30-40 years ago he would have been impeached with virtually no debate.

Absolutely. If he had conceded the race, called Biden and told him he would help in anyway to bring the country together and then kept his damn month closed Republicans would have won last night. And make no mistake, Trump doesn’t care that the republicans lost, he only cares about himself.
EXACTLY.

Imo, nobody should be republican or democrat. It’s past time to do away with the two party system, or reorganize the structure in which both parties wield power.

This sort of thing would 100% have happened if Trump won.

I posit it would have been much worse and would have started on November 4 and would have destroyed any semblance of a Christmas Season of celebration.

Here you go.

Peter Navarro releases 36-page report alleging election fraud 'more than sufficient' to swing victory to Trump https://t.co/D8KrMHnFdK. A great report by Peter. Statistically impossible to have lost the 2020 Election. Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 19, 2020

Trump needs to go ASAP, his insistence on voter fraud in GA single handily gave the Senate to the Democrats.

I am a conservative and in Georgia and could not agree more. He cost us the senate by running ads telling republicans not to trust the system.

He’s in dangerous territory.

Trump has done a lot of good, whether people want to admit it or not, and he’s 17ing trashing it.

Maybe this is going to be the catalyst for starting a real third party.... At which point you will have 2 parties of stupid 17ers and one rational one in the middle.

The 2000 stimulus is what cost the Republicans in GA. Put that on the head of the KY Turtle.

Republicans have a major misinformation problems. Major, major problems. Trump formed a voter committee to explore fraud in 2017. It didn’t find anything. Rather than issue a report saying “we couldn’t find any fraud”, they disbanded the committee without a finding. Then, in 2020, the Trump campaign went 1-50 (60?) in court decisions.

Trump probably spent $100,000,000 and didn’t change a single vote.

All that should reinforce your faith in our democracy and institutions. Instead, they just withdraw further. Fox News isn’t extreme enough now, you have to tune into OAN or Freedom Network to get the real news.

That constant stream of disinformation is what lead to today.

I've thought for the past year and a half that Trump was deliberately tanking the 2020 election. The one thing that was against my thought is that he's too much of a narcissist to want to lose on purpose.

This was just Trump’s plan to get the Democrats to support law enforcement

Agree. Mayor of DC needs to send out the Social Worker Force to put this “peaceful protest” down.

So Trump has the Capitol Police tear gas Episcopal Priest and other non violent protesters for his B.S. bible waving photo op but these criminals can storm the Capitol building and disrupt the democratic process because their guy lost. Patriots my ***. They should arrest and try them all.

Just now being reported on NBC that law enforcement did shoot one of the invaders inside of the Capitol Building.

Sooo.... Now, you are opposed to Peaceful Protests protected by the US Constitution?

I am a Trump supporter and I wish He would have stood down and let it go.

There will come a time when each side will have to stand and fight, yes war fight) for their beliefs, but this is not yet that time. When it comes we will see who has the conviction to fight and die if they must for their cause. Yet, now is not the time. We all still have liberties that are protected by the Constitution and as long as those liberties remain available, then we need to continue to voice our differences at the ballot box. But there should never again be vote by mail. Absentee ballots for people who will cannot vote in person due to existing health, work or military and missionary work, absolutely, but vote by mail just because you don’t want or will not go stand in line to vote, when 100’s of thousands stood in lines to protest, or go to games, or grocery stores or walmart or the pharmacy or the garden center or to get a drivers license, or to get free phones? NO MORE!

We vote by mail here in Colorado and it is safe and secure, you register to vote and are mailed a ballot. You either mail it back or drop in a drop box and you sign the back.
Your signature is verified by your Driver's license, you also can track your ballot online. It works.

They absolutely did. I never thought I'd see the party I have belonged to for 4 decades do what it did today. After today I'm not sure I'm a Republican anymore. I'm not a Democrat for sure, but I do not want to be associated in anyway with what happened at the Capitol today. I always figured if I ever saw the Capitol violently stormed it would be leftists doing it.

Lefties are bunch of pussies. They ain't got no guns!

Ha ha, why the 17 would Vdawg lie?! Who says they voted for Trump as a lie? People dont lie about voting for a total embarrassment to civility and kindness.

That’s the big thing on the right these days. If you disagree with Trump on even one issue you’re a lefty troll that never really voted for him.

Bruh, storming the Capitol by force and stopping a constitutionally mandated, joint session of congress ain't peaceful protesting.
