Well he's not playing now, and the young guys have a higher chance of making a big jump from their first into second years rather than thiam making a massive jump from his third year going into his fourth. So they may lock down even more minutes and they know the system well enough having played so much in it this year. Add young and mulcahy into the mix and it's even more crowded. Maybe we wouldn't find an upgrade over him, but i think there's a decent chance we could. Pikiell has shown a talent for scouring the grad transfer and regular transfer market. And let's not pretend experience always means a heck of a lot in year 3-4..he's not even in the rotation going into the game right now.So according to this clown, you can in fact have too many players with experience and knowledge of the system, and we would rather bring in a transfer who may not contribute or be ready at a moments notice than have a guy who knows where he is supposed to be?
Look at Indiana and tell me you can have too many experienced players.
Indiana has their own problems and they don't have pikiell so they're kind of irrelevant. Our young guys are playing better than their young guys.
