It's always been 3 options.
1) Dems fund wall to a level acceptable to Trump.
2) McConnell jumps ship and Reps and Dems pass bills without wall spending and override a veto.
3) Trump caves and agrees to passing bills with no wall funding.

Pretty much what I just said. I do think a physical barrier to help channel into choke points will also help with interdiction. Illegals are like water, they’re going to take the path of least resistance. By putting a barrier up, it will then allow passive surveillance of that area and allow a focused approach to the remaining unsecured area.

And I don't know why it needs repeated, but what you and others may support doesn't take into account the reality of the parties involved.
