I’m actually pessimistic at times and yet I’m more impressed that we A) still won and B) still managed to score 78 points. If you look at it with a glass half full point of view, that’s unbelievable! I’ll take a win over the streak any day. Especially in the NCAA tournament.

That really is amazing. Especially considering that we've had some really bad three point shooting teams during that stretch.

I would rather hear about UK losing some shooting statistic, then hearing, "You all lost to Davidson in the 1st round of the Tournament in 2018" over and over again.

Reading this thread I had to recheck the score because I thought UK WON THE GAME!

Survive and advance!!! The next game could be the LAST of the season. If that means pounding it inside and not shooting three pointers, then GREAT!!! Whatever works!

Are we still playing Saturday or is the game cancelled because UK didn't hit a 3-pointer today?

One of my friends told me at the beginning of the season that this team would be the one to lose the streak. Guess he proved right but at least it was during a win.

Frankly, I think this is why we won. We owned the lane. We stayed on what worked and when Davidson packed the paint we went to short-range jumpers. No priority was placed on the 3 at all.

In the effort to achieve excellence I would think extending the streak would go hand in hand with the goal of winning the game.
