Eric Chinander, starting a week from today. After the final two games of 2021, it's anybody's guess.

Does he even address them during the game? Usually just stands on the sideline dumbfounded. One time in 4 years he got on Adrian. OnceMan I hope so, with him I think we may have a good chance to win one more game. Doubt it though Frost’s buyout Lowers to 15 Mil on the 1st of next year. I heard Frost didn’t even address the team after the loss so he’s pretty much checked out now.
I said the same thing. It took 4 years to finally get on him for boneheaded plays. 4 years!!Does he even address them during the game? Usually just stands on the sideline dumbfounded. One time in 4 years he got on Adrian. Once
No one is advocating otherwise. I am advocating that Alberts pull the plug after the inevitable OSU loss and put Chinander in charge for the final two games.I wouldn't want any coach from this staff retained, even temporarily. Flush and forget or put behind this shitshow that's on display.
As long as Chinander understood that it would only be until the end of the season then I would be ok with it. Unfortunately I just don't see Albert's as pulling the plug on the Frost/Martinez crapshow until after the end of the season. No one is advocating otherwise. I am advocating that Alberts pull the plug after the inevitable OSU loss and put Chinander in charge for the final two games.
That give the AD a head start on the coaching search, it gives the team a sense of renewal and resolve that this is it for them. And Chinander could fire up the team to beat Iowa.
I hope he does a week from today. It gives him a three-week start on a coaching search, but it also lets recruits, transfers and current players a chance to answer the question: We're going in a different direction, so are you on board or not? Prove it.I just don't see Albert's as pulling the plug on the Frost/Martinez crapshow until after the end of the season.
He wanted the job when Riley was hired my only thing is he to old?Is Kyle Whittingham at Utah too entrenched there for him to consider a change?
He's 61, which is 9 years older than Bill O'Brien and 4 years older than Chris Peterson. He wanted the job when Riley was hired my only thing is he to old?
Our next coach needs to be:
1) A seasoned head coach who understands how to run a successful program. Not someone cutting their teeth in the head spot in a P5 conference.
2) Someone who is detailed-oriented and can a hire a staff that preaches/pounds fundamentals and discipline. Someone who's not afraid to put a player on the bench when they screw up one too many times.
3) Someone who doesn't come in here thinking "my system will force every other team to adapt to me." Check your ego at the door and work at being sound and disciplined.
4) Someone who understands how to recruit to a school like Nebraska.
5) Someone who doesn't have off-field issues distracting them. Someone who isn't going to surround themselves with their buddies/bad actors that are going to create/cause more issues/rumors/etc.
Hopefully Trev can make this happen.
Has a rather mediocre record. Did great in a weak conference like the Mountain West but when Utah joined the Pac-12, they became an average middle of the pack team in the Pac-12. Is that who we think will get Nebraska to a B1G championship? Is Kyle Whittingham at Utah too entrenched there for him to consider a change?
