Eric Chinander, starting a week from today. After the final two games of 2021, it's anybody's guess.

Man I hope so, with him I think we may have a good chance to win one more game. Doubt it though Frost’s buyout Lowers to 15 Mil on the 1st of next year. I heard Frost didn’t even address the team after the loss so he’s pretty much checked out now.

Does he even address them during the game? Usually just stands on the sideline dumbfounded. One time in 4 years he got on Adrian. Once

I wouldn't want any coach from this staff retained, even temporarily. Flush and forget or put behind this shitshow that's on display.

No one is advocating otherwise. I am advocating that Alberts pull the plug after the inevitable OSU loss and put Chinander in charge for the final two games.

That gives the AD a head start on the coaching search, it gives the team a sense of renewal and resolve that this is it for them. And Chinander could fire up the team to beat Iowa.

As long as Chinander understood that it would only be until the end of the season then I would be ok with it. Unfortunately I just don't see Albert's as pulling the plug on the Frost/Martinez crapshow until after the end of the season.

I hope he does a week from today. It gives him a three-week start on a coaching search, but it also lets recruits, transfers and current players a chance to answer the question: We're going in a different direction, so are you on board or not? Prove it.

Ol' Frosty is numero uno on the Coaches Hot Seat. Perhaps he was last week, too.

I can't navigate that page though - it is designed like those Excite webpages I used to use back in 1996/1997 to troll my friends.

Screw that send Frost packing today. Now Trev, now. Absolutely no reason to wait any longer.

Our next coach needs to be:

1) A seasoned head coach who understands how to run a successful program. Not someone cutting their teeth in the head spot in a P5 conference.

2) Someone who is detailed-oriented and can a hire a staff that preaches/pounds fundamentals and discipline. Someone who's not afraid to put a player on the bench when they screw up one too many times.

3) Someone who doesn't come in here thinking "my system will force every other team to adapt to me." Check your ego at the door and work at being sound and disciplined.

4) Someone who understands how to recruit to a school like Nebraska.

5) Someone who doesn't have off-field issues distracting them. Someone who isn't going to surround themselves with their buddies/bad actors that are going to create/cause more issues/rumors/etc.

Hopefully Trev can make this happen.

Im not convinced #1 is even a must. Kirby Smart, Ryan Day, Lincoln Riley were all coordinators before their current jobs. Jimbo was before getting the FSU job. I think guys like Dan Lanning and Marcus Freeman could be home run hires for us.

Is Kyle Whittingham at Utah too entrenched there for him to consider a change?
Has a rather mediocre record. Did great in a weak conference like the Mountain West but when Utah joined the Pac-12, they became an average middle of the pack team in the Pac-12. Is that who we think will get Nebraska to a B1G championship?

Chris Peterson is the perfect hire. Look at the RBs and Dline he built at BSU. USC wants him bad so we’ll see what he does.
