I think this gets to the heart of what he’s been doing today, even if he’s completely oblivious to it. When he knows he can’t win an argument on its merits, he lashes out and starts creating entirely different arguments in his head. He assigns people positions they never took, invents motives they never expressed, and then gets angry at them over these imagined, fictional slights.

When this pointed out to him, there’s no recalibration or acknowledgment that he may have misunderstood someone. Every correction is treated like another attack, which gives him another reason to lash out and keeps him from ever having to consider that he may actually be the problem.

This explains the staggering hypocrisy displayed today. Yet, he seems completely unaware that the imagined behavior he finds so objectionable in everyone else is the same behavior he’s actively engaged in. I’m sorry you somehow became collateral damage from my exchange with him.

its all good....done replying w/ him..

Guess you just being obtuse because you know you went into a direction and concocted something that wasn't even being discussed... you can carry on, I see you....and its not deflection, I told you I'm not answering based on your two made up post....
I honestly don’t understand where this hostility’s coming from. I “can carry on.. you see me”. This has gotten too weird for me. I’m out man. This is Twilight Zone stuff at this point.

So you apologize to another poster for what I’ve said? You’re delusional. Lash out? Staggering hypocrisy? What on Earth are you talking about? Can anyone object to one of your posts without you having a meltdown?
The recalibration part came when I said sorry to Boog Boog. I forget sometimes how emotionally fragile all you Leftists are
I’m not upset, KD. You’ve never upset me. I’m also not the one who had a meltdown today. I just find the cognitive dissonance between how you see yourself and then the behavior you actually display fascinating to watch.
This has become your default of sorts. When you’re challenged to defend your essays, you always go back to the gas prices. It’s obvious to everyone even our new pal Haywood
I can walk and chew gum at the same time. I don’t think you’re capable of challenging anything I write if we’re being honest.

We were going back and forth in relative agreement for several posts. I was adding context and backing up my argument with examples of the tactics Carlson is using to expand his audience and political influence. You somehow completely spaced out on all of that, invented an entirely different argument in your head, convinced yourself I made it, and lost your mind over it.

So what exactly am I supposed to defend here? The made up conversation in your head?

Where did I say those involved in the Jan 6 debacle are absolved of responsibility because there were instigators there? I'm typing slow so you'll maybe comprehend here. I said they shouldn't have gone and should have been arrested. Hello? Are you there McFly? There were also instigators there as well. That's been known. Both comments are true, and both valid points.

You definitely missed the news concerning riots and property damage. Can't even believe you typed that. Here you go. In 2021, protesters in Portland did an estimated $2.3 million in damage. In Minnesota, over 1,500 businesses were damaged, and an estimated $500 million in damage was done in the Twin Cities. They were really grieving George Floyd. Just to be fair, it is estimated at least 1.5 million on Jan 6th. I'm sure you knew this one though.
I understand there was a lot of damage. My point is that saying the cities were destroyed is not true. Extremist rhetoric comes to mind.

My contention with your post about Carlson is if he targeted any other group besides Jews you would dismiss him as a monstrous bigot. No nuance, no context. And then when I skim over your essay there’s a couple of paragraphs dedicated to Carlson, then a couple for Israel.
It’s not “made up”. Your posts are for all to see

If you owned a business, how would you feel? Mostly peaceful or destroyed? See where we’re going here?

I don’t give a **** what Tucker Carlson is doing. He’s a monster. The End. If his sole focus was demonizing any other group, you wouldn’t be worried about him “expanding his audience” or influence

It doesn’t matter how anybody feels. We’re talking about objective reality. If you were a Minneapolis business owner whose livelihood was affected, you have every right to be pissed, but if you tell the world your entire city was destroyed, you’d be lying. How is this hard to understand?
