THE NEW D-LEAGUE

Good morning folks. Happy Saturday. Cool and clear in the east.

struggle for the Cats last night. Some good signs -- no turnovers by the three guards, McBride showed a nice shot. But I'm worried that JMU -- far from the most athletic team on the schedule -- figured out how to shut down Milan. Pope better figure that out fast. Not sure he is creative enough to do that.

Huge day for the football team. Go Cats. I really feel a win today wipes out five decades ranging from total ineptness to occasional moments of "good for Kentucky." Maybe the biggest game since the 1970s.

Something happened yesterday that hit me hard inside, just really hard to explain! A few years ago I made a GOLD STAR for a family in Owensboro, it was an experience that really took a toll on my emotions! There was times that I just had to put down and walk away from it, it took me a while to finish it. When I delivered it to them, there wasn't a dry eye in the room! To watch a Mother hold it against her heart, words can't describe! The thank you was so real as much as anything I have ever felt! That's what makes what I do so awesome!!! That gets me to yesterday, we walk into Texas Roadhouse, set down, Mrs. M leans over and says, look on the wall! There was his picture hanging there, it just did something to me! I think just knowing I made something in Honor of HIM and being Military myself just caused it. Just crazy emotions!

Case in point Sir. I'd put you up against any today. You will bask Sir. You will bask. God Bless you!!! I look at mine nearly every day and think of you.
