My knees were acting up for a while (still do periodically) but I found the best exercise/position for them is the Asian squat. Asians can squat down for long periods of time even in old age. You may have to start with holding on to something to begin with and start with 20-30 seconds in the squat and work your way to longer periods, but it has worked wonders for me. More and more "experts" are suggesting this for knees and hips. Also, I take glucosamine chondroitin supplements (started with 2 a day until I felt relief and then 1 a day). Just a suggestion here as my mobility improved with both of these things.Good morning folks. Heading out to for a run before the sun gets up. It may be a short one. My knee has been acting up and I don’t want to push beyond discomfort and really wreck it.
Then we’ll head for church, followed by a quiet day.
Nothing much else to report, so I’ll wish you well.
I do a lot of floating around on the internet looking for better ways of keeping my physical strength/agility up. Not ready to give up my ball playing days yet.
