I'm a day older than yesterday so I guess age has helped me get over losses better than I used to. Still hold a tremendous passion for UK basketball but just don't get as caught up in the down side as I did when I was younger. I'm OK and will be in Rupp yelling for my Cats on Saturday again and hoping for a big win. Never will quit supporting my team.

Very disappointed in the last 10 mins of game, we ran the same sets for the entire game & never adjusted. We make some of the dumbest passes in the history of basketball & slow the ball down way too much. I wish we would push it more to try to get easy looks vs slowing it down cause we struggle in the half court. But, JV looked pretty good once he got back in to game flow & he was the bright spot I thought.

I slept well. I have seen what happened last night before and will probably see it again. We are not a Top 10 team and going on the road in the SEC is hard with a great team. The only disappointment was we blew a game we could have won. But like Cal says we have freshmen

Feeling just fine. Yeah, a loss always sucks. But, in the grand scheme of things, it didn't cost me a dime, nor did it affect the health of me or my family. Remember, it is just a game played by kids. I have been a fan all my life and that will never change. Sports are supposed to be fun and entertaining, I am finally to the point where I don't let a bad game cause me to lose sleep. I try not to let things totally out of my control cause me much grief or worry, though I will admit it is hard sometimes, especially when it comes to the Cats.

As I sat there last night watching the last probably ... 8 minutes or so ... I noticed something. Our half court offense is 100% dogshit and it got me thinking ... who the hell is gonna score to keep us in games? Literally some of the worst half court offensive possessions I've seen in quite some time.

I’m excited to see how people who are dissatisfied with their own lives will project their own failings onto a bunch of 19 year olds today.

Like Sh*t..and I'm another year older today to top it off. One day, I hope to reach a stage of life where my happiness isn't invested in the antics of a few 18 to 20 somethings..but that day isn't this day. Oh and I'm fine, with my life-thanks..it's awesome, but I will always root for the Cats and a loss...especially a loss like last night when we had the game well in hand will always sting a bit.

Feel the same as I did last night we were lucky to finish the game. The zebras cause us to lose that game as much as we lost it. We b fine.

I'm good. Honestly was surprised we won twice last week with Quade down. It finally caught up to us. More than anything, I think it was great experience for our team. Frank Martin's teams always bang, mix it up, very much like March. We've proven we can win in a hostile environment. I just want to see us full go with everyone (including Baker, though I fear he redshirts).

Personally, I have mixed feelings right now. I love the way that Calipari recruits, trying to find the best players. Yet I hate the fact that he continues to use "they're freshmen" every time he speaks to the media. I will probably take some shots for this, but has Calipari underachieved at UK? I believe he has done less, with more, than most coaches across the country. I compare him to Dean Smith. Great recruiter, good coach, but only won 2 titles, and both of those were flukes.
I understand the "players first" mindset. And it is important to get to the NBA for most of these kids. But I would like to see more stick around, develop their skills, both on and off the court, and create opportunities to win National Championships.
Before people jump all over my comments, I am true blue and want Calipari here as long as he wants to be. I will continue to support the kids and the team. Just want to see them, and hopefully this team will, make a run for an SEC Title and NCAA Title.

I have never witnessed a year of Kentucky basketball where we didn't lose a game. It happens. The better team doesn't always win, which we are better than South Carolina. I just hope they don't let one loss turn into two. They need to forget it, and get ready for Florida.

Eh I'm not upset.. it's just a game. It's just a bunch of guys running up and down a court throwing a ball in a hoop for entertainment on a Tuesday night.

Who am I kidding.. this is Kentucky.

Still pissed they blew a 14 point lead in 10 minutes.

Still pissed Diallo makes so many selfish plays.

Still pissed they generally look soft as a team save for a couple guys.

But not too worried about it. We all knew winning on the road was gonna be very tough this season and losses were gonna happen. The way the game was called didn't help the team get in any kind of rhythm.

Just win Saturday. I'd prefer to see a blowout.

I'm upset because it will hurt our seeding come selection Sunday and puts more pressure on us to win at a high rate to have a high SEC tourney seed.

Other than that, I feel the exact same about this team. Young but improving, they just need their PG healthy and Vanderbilt needs some more game reps..but a very high ceiling that can be reached.

I slept well last night just like I do after each game. My expectations are not high for this team so any win is pleasing and a loss is accepted. We have not beat a Top 25 team this year and a loss to Florida is not really an upset. Our opportunity to beat a solid team is getting lesser by each passing game.

But next year we will have Player X and he will turn this around. Then he will leave for the NBA and we start the process all over again. That is now the definition of Kentucky basketball. Unstable, young and learning with a hope of being a good team by tournament time.

I am fine. I was expecting this loss. Anyone that watches basketball with a keen interest in how the game is played and will see it with an open mind, could see this coming, even the wins we had, except for UL, have all been close and could have lost many more, the way we lost at UT, barely beat A&M at home, barely scrapped by Vandy, would have known that this was going to happen, sooner or later. So, I was not surprised at all.

Still the same basic problem. Nobody is willing to give in and do what is required to play defense. Coach cannot fix that problem except by getting a new set of players.

You are right

So there really should not be so much angst amongst some of the dumbest most fickle fan base in America.
I'm so sick of always hearing "the largest, most passionate, most knowledgeable fan base..."
It's ********.., bunch of babies and wantobees

Cal history at UK shows, we will be a good tourney team.
Do "bad" seasons happen? Of, course.
Expecting a final four team every year is plan stupid.

All these whiners that are sucking on K... hasn't he had a couple of "bad"years recently?

Sorry, needed to vent a little

I hate that we are trending downward in all aspects, we are just one short year away from nearly making final four and I believe would have won it all if we hadn't got tripped up by UNC. Our problem is we depend on reloading and Duke has all the Ammo, and based on past history some of these guys are gonna be leaving so where does that leave us next year. Not to optimistic about the next few seasons.

Feeling worse. We have a bunch of individual pieces with high school stats that looked good on paper. Nothing more. It reminds me of the UNC team a few years ago that shut down on Roy Williams and literally stopped playing.
