Why not? I say bump all the dumb *** threads idiots make. It's hilarious
Dragging up old threads is beautiful. Cal has been here how long now? His teams are young, usually take time to gel. But he usually gets them ready by the time it counts. This year no different. Happens here almost every season. So why not dig up the old threads full of stupidity??
My opinion is this is a message board, not my personal live feed. Everyone has a different angle and motive. Some are too quick to judge and vent (I’m probably in this category) and others seem to only be here to pump and gloat and create a much more negative environment. But it’s all cool with me because honestly, I feel like the moderate / positive side of the fan base is boring. That’s just a personal opinion, I feel like the guys calling it as they see it, even maybe too negative, are what makes fan platforms fun. I like watching the Knicks fans lose their sht during draft night every year. I like seeing the board vent like hell after a loss. I like knowing the players and coaches have pressure, and being Kentucky, they thrive in it. I like seeing that too.
It’s fun when it’s fierce and messy. That’s what’s so great about being a die hard fan of an organization or program like UK.
My advice is to chill and roll with it, have fun with it. BBN is well known and well respected for a reason. Even espn can’t take that tag.

Cals teams definitely look better late on average. Everyone should agree with that. However there are people that don’t like that system. Even with the success they don’t like the scheduling, turnover, and late production. I think to them it’s about like watching a long boring movie with an explosive and awesome ending, some don’t like to sit through 2 hours of boredom for 20 minutes of brilliance.
I get it. I don’t hate on that. Cal is a lightening rod, the most intense lightening rod in the game. Some people also like Cal but don’t necessarily like what he’s brought to the game. I’ve said it countless times, revolutionaries are both revered and loathed. I think Cal understands it too.
My personal opinion is even though I’m not a huge fan of the methods, I’m a huge fan of success, and I’m a huge fan of the alumni (we had no NBA culture really until Cal) and a fan of Cal saving the program. I don’t put it on a Pitino level, but it’s right behind it.
So I’ll *****, but I do not want it to end.

I thought 1-9 was good in the Bahamas and tremendously so much better defensively now.
