+vdgg won't be playing the superbowl halftime show (though I would love to see an NFL crowd reaction to A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers).
The 23 min would kill em.

I've heard of that band before, never really checked them out seriously. But if you like them, and you haven't heard of this band, then you should check out Marillion. They are very similar.

Marillion with Fish as the singer was great. I don't love the Steve Hogarth era quite as much as it veers to prog metal.

A lot of people will question my judgment, but that show and one a year later at the Brady were two of the best concerts I have ever seen.

That other show - Adam Ant. I think it was better than U2. And my ears were ringing for days after the show as I wandered around the lower level of brand new Keplinger Hall. Stage left seats right in front of the amp stacks.
I once saw Joan Jett out at the Great Escape and it was so loud that ceiling tiles fell onto the crowd.

She’s always a treat to see live.

Let's get a bunch of 80s geriatric rock bands up there. Joan Jett, J Geils, Def Leppard...

Yeah, when I was comparing them, I was thinking Misplaced Childhood era. I never listened to the Hogarth stuff.

I once was on a commercial flight that she was also on. With all the rock stars that have died in plane crashes over the years I couldn't help thinking that this is how my family and friends are going to remember me, as going down in the famous Joan Jett crash.

It was a Joan Jett-Jet?
