I'm not at a fan of Lebron, but you have to give credit where it's due. We are talking about his level of "greatness", not how you consider him personally.

He's an outstanding athlete and his longevity to sustain the level he has is amazing.

Offense overall in the NFL hasn’t changed. It’s just shifted from running to passing. Offense overall in basketball hasn’t changed. It’s just added the three point shot. Kareem didn’t shoot threes. Lebron doesn’t rely on threes. What’s your point?
This isn’t true. The defensive rule changes designed to eliminate excess physicality and hand checking had an enormous impact on the game. It’s the primary reason why scoring averages have increased so dramatically from where they were in the 90s and early 00s.

Yep. I'm not a fan of Curt Schilling at all but it is a total joke he isn't in the Hall of Fame.

37 years old and leading the league in scoring at 30.0 points a game. He hasn't averaged 30 since 2007-08, which was his 5th year in the league.

It's insane how good he still is, especially when you consider he's made it to at least the second round in 14 of the 15 seasons he's made the playoffs.

The last two posts are an example of what’s wrong with this country.
What is wrong with this country is that you have Professional athletes that use their position to push their agenda. JUST PLAY BALL! KEEP POLITICS OUT OF IT!!! I don't need their opinion. I am much more experienced at what is going on in this world than these sports figures.

Lebron is definitely top 5 all time NBA. He is the 1st team all NBA SF in history...I will never rank him above Jordan though due to total titles and totality of resume. Lebron had the benefit of 3 extra years on Jordan at the start of his career and also Jordan lost 2 during his prime to play baseball.

Before anyone chimes in, yes I get it was Jordan's decision to go to college (not even sure what rules were then) but most big name starts played multiple years at college back in the early 80s. He chose to go play baseball and waste almost 2 seasons...but I am pretty certain with those other 5 seasons he is by far #1 in NBA scoring history.

I have never heard Brady has taken HGH.
I mean, no one knows 100% for sure, but he was the first to come to Peyton Manning’s defense after PM was accused. After that, a lot of people in the know confirmed it.

I personally don’t have a problem with it, because their body their choice. When used correctly and responsibly, it definitely slows the aging process as far as athletics go.

Your premise is correct, but it won’t go over well with this crowd.

Regardless of what you think of him off the court, there’s no intelligent way of denying how staggeringly great he’s been on it. And his body seems to be made of a different substance than us normal humans. How someone who’s put the insane mileage on his legs that he has could still be so explosive, without ever suffering a major injury, is unreal.

Brady and LeBron seem to have some weird immunity to the aging process.

Ummm yea it’s called modern medicine and HGH.

Lebron’s jaw enters the room a minute before he does now.

I coined him Cheeseburger happy meal face!

gotta disagree with you
the NFL changed the rules so that it would be much more pass friendly
the NBA has almost eliminated a travel call when driving, then add the continuation from about mid court
the NBA has done everything it can do to artificially inflate scoring
then add in what i hate the most which is rewarding players for constant flopping

Lebron is one of the five best basketball players ever who’s had an amazing career.

Lebron is also very ignorant on a lot of things he talks about and does do a bit of race baiting while sucking up to China.

Both are true.
WHATever he's done on the court is offset by what he's done off the court.

That’s a matter of opinion hence why you should just leave it to what he does on the court lol

Precisely what awful sins has he committed “off the court”?

The dude’s never been arrested, never been in any legal trouble, no serious incidents of off court misbehavior …is it just expressing political opinions you dislike?

Yep.

He's very disengenuous on the issues at hand. He's bowed, like the entire nba, to China yet he will readily throw the USA under the bus.

They literally have nothing to do with each other. OJ Simpson was an incredible football player despite the fact he murdered 2 people.
And look where OJ's reputation is today. The murder he committed is far more grievous than anything he did on the field.

Today's medicine and what not have kept him in absurd condition for this long. I heard he spends well over a million a year for his body alone.

I can’t speak for the others you listed, but James and Brady both have a secret weapon they deploy… HGH. That’s not to diminish their accomplishments, but to do it at their age? Brady is like what, 48?

It’s the worst kept secret in sports.
I don"t know if James or Brady take HGH or not. But it sure makes sense. Remember when Sosa. Bonds and McGuire were hitting home runs at ridiculous rates? They were not the hitters we thought they were. And they are not in the baseball hall of fame.

I remember! Funny enough, that was the last time I was invested in MLB past the casual level. Great times! I’ve met and talked to Big Mac on a few occasions, and his thing was, a lot more guys were doing it, but the one’s doing it correctly and producing results, were eventually the players that had to be singled out.
