Love to see that become part of our game plan. So hard to defend when executed properly.

Just seeing them use the options, with all these new wrinkles, does my heart some kinda good. It's been the only way they'd consistently run well before this game. Some good self scouting there by the offensive brain trust. AND, it now gives defensive coordinators heartburn when prepping from here on out.

The fake hand off froze the defense just long enough to let Betts turn on the jets
That play was extremely well blocked on the edge by our receivers. I couldn't tell if that was our LT or TE who got out and got a kick out block on the very outside. One WR who obviously was not Omar or Toure got a good block....might have been a walk on WR......

I noticed this about Betts last year and it was on full display on that option run. But he is deceptively fast. He just glides when he hits his stride. He has that break away speed that we desperately need.

He’s a slam dunk NFL guy

I’m also glad we threw him a jump ball last night, too. That’s 3 straight games and he should get at least one shot deep every week moving forward

Was surprised AM pitched it so early, but he knew what he was doing.
Either a linebacker or DB had him in his sights and the obvious thing to do was to pitch it. Great decision and it hit Betts in stride and he was at full speed as he made the corner.

The option will work and glad to see them putting in game plan. Cowboys used it today, doesn’t have to be QB

I didn’t even think it was an option play, but a designed pitch from the start. Martinez didn’t even take a step.

There was no doubt that the blocking was set up for the pitch man but IF the guy who was keying on Adrian had gone to the pitch man I'm sure he had the option to run it himself. At least that's the way it looked to me the one time I watched the replay.

Looks to me like they ignored the DE and he keyed on Martinez immediately which is probably why the pitch happened so fast.
