Who remembers Ahman Green on the option pitch for TD very first play of game in Boulder? Thing of beauty the perfect option pitch is!!
Love to see that become part of our game plan. So hard to defend when executed properly.Who remembers Ahman Green on the option pitch for TD very first play of game in Boulder? Thing of beauty the perfect option pitch is!!
10:45 first play!!Who remembers Ahman Green on the option pitch for TD very first play of game in Boulder? Thing of beauty the perfect option pitch is!!
That play was extremely well blocked on the edge by our receivers. I couldn't tell if that was our LT or TE who got out and got a kick out block on the very outside. One WR who obviously was not Omar or Toure got a good block....might have been a walk on WR......The fake hand off froze the defense just long enough to let Betts turn on the jets

The option has been used in every game except Oklahoma. Has had great success in every game, except Oklahoma...Love to see that become part of our game plan. So hard to defend when executed properly.
He’s a slam dunk NFL guyI noticed this about Betts last year and it was on full display on that option run. But he is deceptively fast. He just glides when he hits his stride. He has that break away speed that we desperately need.
Either a linebacker or DB had him in his sights and the obvious thing to do was to pitch it. Great decision and it hit Betts in stride and he was at full speed as he made the corner. Was surprised AM pitched it so early, but he knew what he was doing.
Yeah I thought it was executed flawlessly..Either a linebacker or DB had him in his sights and the obvious thing to do was to pitch it. Great decision and it hit Betts in stride and he was at full speed as he made the corner.
I didn’t even think it was an option play, but a designed pitch from the start. Martinez didn’t even take a step.Either a linebacker or DB had him in his sights and the obvious thing to do was to pitch it. Great decision and it hit Betts in stride and he was at full speed as he made the corner.
There was no doubt that the blocking was set up for the pitch man but IF the guy who was keying on Adrian had gone to the pitch man I'm sure he had the option to run it himself. At least that's the way it looked to me the one time I watched the replay.I didn’t even think it was an option play, but a designed pitch from the start. Martinez didn’t even take a step.
Looks to me like they ignored the DE and he keyed on Martinez immediately which is probably why the pitch happened so fast.I didn’t even think it was an option play, but a designed pitch from the start. Martinez didn’t even take a step.
