There was a grocery store in SW PA called Riverside, they used to have these awesome subs called Riverboats. So good.
Took my dear grandmother Rose to Riverside every Thursday for a long time. Loved the Riverboats!

Lots of great stuff like that in that area back in the day.

There was a department store named Hill's that had the best popcorn. And K-mart in Altoona had the best hogies I've eaten to this very day.

Ahhh, the good old days.

Anyway, I thought the fight was over gob vs. whoopy pie. Personally I refuse to eat anything with the word whoopy in it, but I can knock down some gobs!

Seriously, it isn’t hard. Everyone knows the rules. What the f*ck is wrong with people? Share your experiences of what you are seeing, what you are doing, etc. You don’t have to offer your stupid f*cking, polarizing opinions.

F*ck off, people. F*ck right off.

😞
This is also what you said to that little kid in the coffee shop, isn’t it?

Submarine Sandwich aka Sub for sure.
hero sandwich
A hero sandwich is a large, New York-originating Italian-American sandwich served on a long, crusty roll, typically filled with layers of Italian cold cuts, cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, and oily dressings. Popular fillings include salami, pepperoni, mortadella, prosciutto, and provolone. What about this????

Heroes are people who can your life. It seems like what you describe can kill you.

Duh. Everyone knows it’s a sammich. You put fries, cole slaw, and a fried egg on it and use plain white bread.

Just wanted to let you know. I didn’t make up the name. Just some areas call a hoagie a hero. Because we were on that subject
I know that. It wasn’t a criticism of you or your post. It was simply the paradox of a hero sometimes not being a hero. Different kinds of heroes and all that.

HS classmate of my ex and one of my best friends. A good man.
@Bkmtnittany1 and a few others from the Wyoming Valley.

I don't do the media stuff like Facebk, Linkedin, or any others - just the McAndrew,
Anyway, this popped up on my screen while reading some of the posts on the Mac board and thought it interesting to persons previously from the Valley.

My friends and I would travel with our bikes about three miles to Forty Fort Ice Cream for a Pig's Dinner severed in a wooden trough, loaded w/bananas, ice cream, and toppings.
