At the game Saturday and couldn’t send any text. I’ve got AT&T as a carrier and had 3 bars. What the 17 is up with this? We had just over 12K in attendance not 60k.

What’s the issue?

Same here. AT&T. Couldn’t text or keep up with basketball scores. Was a little better Sunday.

I'm not saying definitely but this could have been an AT&T issue, I live 15 minutes from the stadium and I noticed yesterday afternoon that my data and texts weren't working. All seems fine today

My carrier is also AT&T. I can just about forget getting service at ANY of our sporting events.

It's not just a AT&T issue, my Verizon phone was worthless at the Friday night game. My buddies Cspire phone didn't have any problems.

Been that way every game and pretty much every sporting event in 'Vegas. Don't think this is an isolated issue. I think it is ATT for sure.

Same here. AT&T. Got zero service inside the Hump Friday night. Was trying to keep up with baseball and basketball scores while watching women’s game. Guy in front of me had CSpire and had no issues. He kept me updated. Like you, had same issue Saturday at Dudy Noble. AT&T is worthless - at least for me - on gamedays at MSU.

The network was saturated in that area. It doesn’t have to be 10’s of thousands of people. It can be several thousand

I'm curious how many of you pay for the "premium" LTE. Since net neutrality was repealed, carriers can charge you to put you in the "fast lane". If you don't, Verizon will throttle you during heavy usage times. We don't pay for the highest tier and it's pretty much unusable at a sporting event. Most other times it's OK.

Cspire is a big contributor and has handled our communications for a long time, or at least use to. They put some kind of signal booster at Davis wade and vaught. I wonder if they have a deal with us to be the only provider who gets to do so

I know they placed repeaters in VHS but I believe they wouldn’t do it at DWS because Loafer’s couldn’t get enough of a kick-back from the deal.

I wish I hadn't been able to keep up with basketball scores that night

They don't, but as the "exclusive wireless provider of Bulldog athletics", they are the only ones that can openly advertise their network improvements at games, on videoboards, in game programs, etc. AT&T/Verizon/etc cannot. A few years ago AT&T had a portable cell tower on the outskirts of the junction during football season, and had to cover up the AT&T logo on the truck.

Good point. Maybe Cohen had them put a cell block on so he wouldn't have to fire anymore coaches in the middle of the season. **

ATT is terrible period. The cell service is just as spotty at DWS or DNF on game day as it is in Huntsville, AL on any day that ends in "y."
Most technologically advanced city in the SE and it takes an act of God to have a phone call w/o a dropped call once or twice.

I would hope not. Probably only a small percentage of fans have Cspire as their provider.

I don't pay for "premium" service with Verizon (didn't even know you could) but I've never had any trouble with simple things, like texting or accessing a web site. I've never tried streaming a game, but can see how that would be an issue with 60000+ people in one spot and another 20000 or so sitting at the tailgates.
