I see your point, but that’s different than the point that I was attempting to make…simply that, by and large, junior high and high school courses are more difficult/taken more seriously elsewhere than in the U.S.It's funny you name European countries that can't protect themselves. What good is a European degree if it isn't in a field that can keep their own country sovereign without US help? I would bet a small percentage of those foreign-exchange students are in America to get a degree that actually matters.
