My guess is they want to keep Thursday open in case they have to move the varsity game

Agreed! I know Saturday was in the talks, but the chances for rain on Saturday are greater than Friday.
Welp I’m hearing the game is moved to Thursday. Unbelievable. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make this one now.
I think I am going to be able to swing it. I cannot ever remember a time where the first four games of the season, and the jamboree were all on Thursday night.

They'll be scary good when they get to varsity. They got a lethal one two punch at running back to.

A classic for me in this game would be us blowing them out. Not sure I can handle it going down to the wire against the cougars lol. Jk as you said, hopefully everyone will behave and enjoy a good game.
I just don't know what we're gonna do with Draughn. He looks like Adrian Peterson out there. I expect it to once again be the closest victory Tarboro has all season, but a victory for the Vikings nonetheless. We've had 13 days to prepare. Tarboro has had 7. I don't think 13 more would do us any good when it comes to #3. I expect that we'll have some success throwing the ball, but I also think our QB will get some good cardio in from running for his life at times. We aren't great on the O line.
We did not make a pick on this one; it's hard for me the coach I played for Coach Ward vs the Coach I have sat down several times and had lunch with and talked X's & O's with him. Best of luck to both teams tonight. Let me know the score I will definitely be checking in.
Watching the JV game from last night, SWE definitely is a spread offensive team for the foreseeable future. Was impressed by the Tarboro defense also.
Jv took some deep shots last night, and I fully expect the varsity to do the same tonight.
If yall qb contain, there will be success stopping his running. Most of his runs are inside. As far as our running backs, no worries there. We do not look good running at all anymore. Keeping with the times, I guess. But it's heartbreaking to see.
The Southwest guys up here have been pretty spot on with their thoughts about this matchup - but I’ve for sure been hearing about how Southwest was gonna get us this year from outside of this site. I really thought it would’ve been closer than that.
I think so many thought with what we lost, this year would be the year. Very solid win, and I could not be more pleased to be 3-1.
also, happy to have a lighter game next week, then a bye week following that. Gives a chance for some of our banged up guys to get some rest
Me too. Shout out to our coaches for having a good game plan. We made some great adjustments, and did some really nice things on the offensive side too
I was feeling a little uneasy about this Tarboro team after the first two weeks, but the last two weeks they’ve flipped it up into another gear. Tarboro will be hard to beat.
I’m with you. With that said, I knew even after the first two weeks we’d be okay. I think week 1 with the kickoff for the TD then the onside just really threw us off our game to start with. Week 2, wet field, and a REALLY good Qb. As you said, we’ve looked solid the last two weeks. I feel really good going into our last non-conference game into conference play
