Welcome. Seems to me like the other side of the coin to the Logan Jones recruitment. One is a highly rated recruit we slow-played a bit because he wasn't the ideal fit for our scheme. Tamon seems to be the lightly rated recruit who we offer ahead of most other Power 5 schools because he is a great fit for the defense we want to run.
The coaches know what they want. They offered him early. I don't view him as a reach, particularly at this time. Maybe if we gave him an offer in January after all our other targets committed elsewhere, it might look like a reach. It seems clear to me this is a guy they identified as a priority, and made the offer based off their own evaluation.

yes, I'm very concerned with the fact the staff didn't check first with you imbeciles out wandering about d'weeds first before offering the scholarship. after all, you imbeciles are so all knowing, all seeing--except, of course, on your own website and knowing anything about football or history.
Trying to guess which recruits will flourish into great players versus the ones that we'll never hear from again is somewhat of a fool's errand. With that said, after a quick eyeball test the thing that sticks out to me is his arm length. Reminds me alittle of Stanely-Jean Baptist. He definitely needs to hit the weight room and grow into his frame. Not unusual for a 16 year old who's 6'2" I would assume. As the smart folks like to say, he could be a bit of a project with a high ceiling.

You definitely will. Remember, your team is full of 5.4-5.6 3 star players just like this guy. Funny to see you judge a 3 star when your teams full of them. just saying
See mouth, he got his ranking and he’s now a 5.6 3 star. High/mid 3 star CB is fine with me.
