Can't help but think that the NCAA will favor Kansas, St. John's and Oregon to trim down the # of SEC teams in Omaha.

You have a chance of having 5 of 8 being SEC, I imagine they want it to be more like 3 SEC.

You have to admit it would be hilarious for the SEC to tweet out the "9th straight year an SEC team makes the CWS finals" graphic before the CWS even starts.

I don’t understand why we got SSM and Auburn got FSS
Isn't it just that everyone on the left side of that graphic will be in one pod at Omaha and everyone on the right side is in the other pod? So keeping all the teams within a pod on the same schedule?

If Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee and A&M would have showed up, or even half of them, it'd be unreal.

Well I don't hate the Saturday start, just to give TIco normal rest, but I don't love those start times
Fine with me. Usually very early start times lessen home field advantage. Biggest thing is that it gives our starters maximum rest. That will be important because we need all 3 to go as long as possible. I have ZERO confidence in our bullpen right now outside of maybe Davis.

Yeah that’s right. For some reason I thought they gave more consideration to when a regional ends

Only one ACC team, Overrated! Big10, Big 12 not much better at two each. The only SEC Achillies hill is they are having to play each other in the Super Regionals. There will be at least one Big 10 or ACC team will be in the CWS.

7 of 16 are not top 16 seeds, so roughly half of the regional host teams lost their regional (seeds 1,2,8,9,10,12,13)

Left side opens in Omaha first day
Just a ******, ****** draw for us this year. Even if we manage to get past UGA, there's almost zero chance our side of the bracket in Omaha won't be much, much harder than the other side. UM and Auburn have a lot of pressure on them in the supers, because whoever advances is likely going to start with a relatively easy path to get to the CWS finals. I don't pay attention to the CWS year in and year out, but if UN is upset, surely that will be one of the weaker brackets in Omaha. If UNC and Auburn get upset, would that be one of the weakest ever on paper?

I don’t have any complaints about starting on Saturday for us, but it’s totally bizarre that they decided to start all the left side bracket games on Fri and the right side games on Saturday.

All 4 of the matchups on the left side weren’t finalized until yesterday (some very late last night), whereas 2 of 4 of the right side were finalized on Sunday and the other 2 were finalized early in the day on Monday.

Literally 50% of the teams in the lefthand bracket will be starting the super regionals on 3 days rest, and 2 of those 4 teams will be on the road. Troy also has 3 days to get a stadium and field ready to host a Super Regional that they had to have no 17ing clue they’d be hosting, they haven’t played a game there since May 10th, and the entire southeast has been getting rain dumped on it for 3 weeks straight. It makes no sense at all that they didn’t start that side on Saturday.
