Youngblut beats Corbin from PA. Solid win. Was able to get off bottom twice...Corbin is very tough on top. Corbin rode him all of the 3rd but DY got out in the last few seconds...almost reversed him. Despite getting rode, his gas tank looked good in OT. Got out real quick in rideouts and was able to ride Corbin for the win.

Should've had a takedown in the 2nd period too - not quite sure how he didn't finish that sequence for three points.

Hasn't been the sharpest day so far for Eve Skrocki, but the Dubuque native reaches the semis at 148 after a quarterfinal pin.

Meanwhile, recent official visitors Taina Fernandez (148), Jaclyn Bouzakis (106) and Ciyanna Okocha (175) have all bonused their way to the semis with ease.

Fortier kid takes out Heeg in the semifinals. He is committed to Virginia Tech and looked good.

Mario Hutcherson has been on a war path. Kid wrestles with an edge.

I also like the Staples kid. He looks good and wrestles very smart.

Youngblut on to finals. Flo announcer said multiple times he’s going to UNI. What’s up with that?

He was confused. He saw the Immortal coaches and Doug standing behind the corner and obviously got confused.

Fernandez/Bouzakis/Okocha all make the finals via margins of 5-0 (FALL), 10-0 and 6-0 respectively.

Skrocki loses in the semis to ISU commit Landri Von Gonten - who will face Fernandez in the final at 148.
